Bed bug experience and poor handling afterward

During my stay at this hotel, I experienced bed bugs in the room and was bitten multiple times during the night. This caused significant physical discomfort and complete loss of sleep. I documented the situation with photos and video taken inside the room. The hotel refunded the night after I reported the issue, but denied further responsibility despite the impact on my well-being and the fact that I had to discard personal belongings for health and safety reasons. This review reflects my personal experience and is shared to inform other travelers.

Lovely hotel, very comfortable and clean. House keeping changed our bedding everyday and reception couldn’t have been more helpful allowing an early check in/late check out complimentary to fit our plane times. Very convenient location right across from the train station and the bus station if you’re using the GVB passes. Loved our stay.

Lovely clean hotel opposite the station there is a spar where you can get snacks and drinks from. Train to central is about five minutes. Shout out to frank and his colleague for giving us good service

We stayed at this location when travel was disrupted in Amsterdam due to snow. The two guys that checked us in were so friendly, kind and helpful with suggestions for our onward travel, allowing us to check in early and offering washing facilities we were so grateful for this kindness. The hotel location is excellent only a few minutes walk to Sloterdijk station where you have access to train,bus and metro. The rooms are very clean and beds super comfortable. All staff were super friendly and helpful. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.
