Basic but clean. Staff friendly. rooms quite small and lacked tea and coffee facilities which was a shame. Breakfast quite varied and hot food sometimes available also. Card only to purchase from front desk which wasnt ideal but overall not a bad place to get your head down. 15 minute walk to centre

Location and price are fantastic. 5 min walk to the red light district, 10 min walk to the train station. The location is close enough to walk to most places, but far enough away from the hussle and noise from the centre. We were allowed to check in early, and the room was nice and clean. We were given a ground floor room with a view of the canal behind, which was lovely. We didn’t eat there, as we just used the local cafes to get food, which works out cheaper. There are 2 supermarkets really close by, and a couple of small shops and bars within a 2 min walk. The only negative comment was the noisy cleaners, who woke us up both mornings we stayed at around 0830 laughing and shouting. Please tell your cleaners to keep the noise down as some guests might be still be sleeping….! Other than this, it was a fantastic venue and would happily stay again.

Asked for a quiet room on low floor. Given room on 5th floor (only 6 floors), smelled badly of sewage. Asked to move to another room, lived but room was not clean, hairs in shower. Very basic for price but beds comfy. Torn mattress, could see the foam. Disappointed. Was a birthday trip. Think average is generous gave score due to good location.

Lovely stay at Ibis as usual. Good rooms, hotel and you could add on breakfast if you wanted to. Accommodating as kept our luggage in a store on last day. Only thing taking this from a 5 down to a 4 is the location. Took us about 20minutes each way to walk to and from centre. We chose to walk rather than taxi as these were expensive. You do lots of steps walking around the centre so it is tiring walking all the way back. Would come back or maybe stay in sister hotel by the station.

No faults with this hotel, great friendly professional service from staff. Spotlessly clean everywhere. Had premium room with canal view, lovely view. Great room, love the bathroom pods. Massive bed with such a comfortable mattress and the softest pillows and quilt. Excellent location very near/walking distance to all attractions. Lots of places to eat nearby and supermarket nearby. Would highly recommend and definitely return.
