I had another excellent stay at ibis Amsterdam City West, a hotel I regularly choose whenever I’m in Amsterdam. A special mention goes to Maciej, who took the time to personally check me in and made the experience genuinely welcoming. He shared information about what’s around the area and offered great local knowledge. Even though I know the area very well from previous stays, it was still really appreciated and showed a high level of care and professionalism. The room was clean, bright, and airy. It was a little warmer than I prefer, but this was easily managed as the windows do open, which made a big difference. Overall, another reliable and comfortable stay. 10/10, I’ll definitely continue to stay here when visiting Amsterdam.

انا دائما احجز في هذا الفندق ولكن اخر مرة كان الوضع مختلف كانت الغرفة باردة جدا ولا يوجد تدفئة وفي الصبح كان عمال يعملون بجانب الغرفة والصوت كان داخل للغرفة

Estuve apenas 4 días en el hotel pero todo fue muy bueno, en especial la cálida atención de los recepcionistas y del personal del bar. Agradezco en especial a Paola, Luka y al recepcionista Polaco (No conozco su nombre) pero siempre me atendió con la mejor predisposición. Para una mujer que viaja sola lo recomiendo, me sentí muy a gusto.

Extremely dirty and expensive

I stayed in this hotel for one night on 10th of April. My company had booked the room. The room was very expensive at 253 Euros for one night + 23 Euros tourist tax. For this price I expect a CLEAN ROOM as a minimum. The room 504 floor was unbelievably dirty, same as the nasty wall with and stains on the curtains. Even the paper sign to save water in the bathroom was torn.Also there was stench of Marijuana in the room as if there was a party in there that was not properly cleaned and ventilated afterwards. Not even a complimentary bottle of water or chocolate for 253 Euro +'23 Euri tourist tax? Come on.... This day (weekend) the hotel WIFI was not working during my stay so no work could be done neither. Other than this, there was noise coming from a building ( club?) nearby where it seemed they had drummers lessons) For this price you would expect 4 stars at least and not third world standards and dirt that I have not seen even in Bangladesh with alll due respect. My Company paid for this room, but I will advise the NEVER again.
