In our Europe Tour, we rank this one number 2 of the 4 Ibis hotels we did. Hotel staff was nice, but it seems they are not used to see tourists, as they barely had answers to our questions (questions were asked during off-peak time about general stuffs like public transport near hotel). Room itself was ok. The famous bus which drives you to city centre is there about every 20mins, and while the bus stop is in front of hotel, you need to walk about 6-min to walk around the motorway to reach the bus stop - not convenient during freezing days. The metro is also 5-min walk away, but it does not go directly to the city centre, so forget it. The lobby is very small, so you just go to sleep there. There is absolutely nothing around the hotel, except for a burger king. It was the most expensive Ibis i paid per night during my European Tour.

Okay hotel for one night

Hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. Everything else was a disappointment. Our room size, we barely had space for our luggage. The washroom looks like an airplane washroom. Breakfast food was limited and cold. For lunch and diner there is no restaurant around, we took the bus to downtown. Location, nothing around but the bus service is efficient, the 22 across the street takes you downtown. Probably fine for one night. I would not return.

Staff were very helpful and the facilities were clean and tidy. We had a couple of drinks at the bar and we asked about the area. The people who served us were glad to answer our questions about the city. Breakfast was plentiful and had a good variety.

I spent 4N/5D B&B .. Hotel is 3cstar hotel ...location os good for me .. in front of bus 22 station which takes around 15 min . To central station it is good for me really. To reach the hotel from amsterdam air port you will take the yellow train (spoor) to amsterdam sloterdijk then catch bus 22 from bus station in front of the train station to drop off in kobelweg .. Rooms are clean ..bed is comfy& clean ..AC is working good... bath is clean ... the hotel is quite hotel ... Breakfast is good for me .. crossiant..chocolate pate .. bread.. french bread... 2 types of cheese .. slami ...turkey...ham...beef.. cucmber ..tomatoe... fruot salad ...plain yougurt or with fruit ... corn flakes ... milk ...boiled & scrambled egg .. samall waffle... white bean ...juice..water. Coffee & tea station and 2 types of fruits changes everyday .. Staff is really great ..sp. carla which is helpfull with beatiful smile ... They have small grocery inside the hotel to buy some snacks & beverage. Burger king is just behind the hotel which is saving stomach issue(hahahaha). This hotel was really nice to me with all i need to stay in amsterdam .. I enjpyed staying there ..hope to come again .

We didn't realise this hotel was quite so far away from the city itself - however there is a frequent bus from virtually right outside the hotel to Centraal Station. Staff friendly and helpful and room adequate and clean. Only criticism is a dog barking in a room nearby in the small hours - sign in lobby says, as seems to be the norm now - we welcome dogs. Fine but provided they don't disturb other people! This dog thing is getting out of hand - they are allowed in pubs and restaurants - in my view, if food being served not on. As for barking in a confined space? Wetherspoons - love them or hate them, have banned dogs! Sorry for rant - hotel fine!
