Disappointing all around.

The room was cleanish but not great. Tiles in shower were black in the grout. Hot breakfast was warm at best, some items were not under the heat lamps and those that were, were not hot enough. It would have been better value to get the AirTrain into the city and get a decent hotel. Also noisy outside as metal windowsills not the best when pouring with rain. Wouldn't recommend and won't stay there again. Not good value for money.

Great Hotel

Ibis Brisbane Airport is a clean and comfortable hotel. Rooms are nice and quiet. It’s obliviously very close to the airport and they provide a shuttle service to the airport. Staff are friendly and helpful. Surprisingly the restaurants downstairs was packed when we went for a quick dinner, but eventually found a table.

Quick stay

Arrived on in the evening. and the front desk staff was SO unfriendly. The male staff member at the desk was not welcoming and his customer service left alot to be desired. It was a major turn off. The rooms were nice but extremely narrow. Hard to fit luggage. Shannon at the front desk the next morning was fabulous and I told her that I wished she was working the night before.

Great transit stop

We had a transit in Brisbane before a flight to Samoa and stayed here for convenience. The price was very high but we did find out there was something big and football related in town which explains it… Easy to locate - just flow signs to hotel and conference centre. You can see the hotel as you leave the domestic terminal. The welcome was friendly and confusion about our welcome drink entitlement as silver Accor members was quickly resolved. The room was great so an ibis - modern and had a great airport view as we had requested. We took the shuttle to the international terminal the next morning for $8 each which worked fine. I don’t like the hefty credit card surcharge which was overcharged as well. It was supposed to be 1.1% on Mastercard but we paid more. Only noticed on bill which was emailed to us… shame as it leaves a nasty taste after a great stay.

Great overnight stay

Stayed at this Ibis before our long flight back to the UK. Quiet room with very comfortable beds. Friendly and welcoming staff on reception. Food was excellent. Easy to find despite going through a car park from the train. We would definitely stay there again.
