Mantra on Queen - Brisbane

I went with customers for business. I booked through booking.com but now am in a bitter fight because no one wnts to supply me with a tax invoice so I can claim through my business. The room was neat but the parking was a disgrace and was described by the receptionist as such. To charge for the parking was a disgrace. Dont stay at a Mantra or use booking website if you want good after stay service. They don't Care !!!

The car park was full in the hotel after I told them we needed 2 parks when I booked the room, as well as twin beds. My friend got lost going to the one they told her to go to and ended up a one way street the wrong way and then on the motorway back to the GC accidentally. It took her 2 hours to sort it all and was so upset when I arrived which unfortunately was dark by now. I then got instructions on getting to this off site car park, which the guy said was easy and my friend told me its really hard but turn in as soon as you go up this little rise. OK, off I go, I then tried to turn immediately and there was a lane coming up inside me and some person that wouldnt let me in, so I tried to get across and waited for her to go past , then not seeing it and turning too late due to her, ended up with my car beached on a island in the middle of the entrance/exit. I have a sports car so couldnt see it, and was so low my car was stuck with the back of it across the lane on a busy road. God knows how i got it off without pulling the front off my car and without any bad known damage to suspension etc. Then we found out our beds were not twin as I booked. The hotel guy said he would separate them when we went out - came back at around 11.30pm and he hadn’t. Then the adjoining room to us left the door open and had a party at 3am slamming doors and we had to get up and ask them to shut the door and be quiet.

Location is great for the city or Valley. Room is comforable, clean and tidy, though the room is a little smaller than expected. Pool and spa were a great way to start the day, but the sauna wasnt working. Woolies, bottle shop and other shops are just across the street.

Was very pleasantly surprised by the size of the room at Mantra on Queen as I was expecting something much smaller. The room was tidy and well appointed. Fantastic location to explore Brisbane CBD and Fortitude Valley. Would consider staying again. Thank you

I was surprised when we arrived that the restaurant and bar have been closed. I cannot remember this being advertised when I booked the accommodation. The hotel is well situated to the city. Woolworths is across the road and there is also a bottle shop in the shopping centre. The hotel is 'dated', the grouting in the bathroom showed signs of grime.
