I stayed for 19 days. First time use economy type hotel. I used to stay in one of All accors hotels. But I wasn’t pleased with that last stay. I thought breakfast was included and paid then I discovered when I reached there it was not included and I had to pay every single time before or after i finish having breakfast. No points were added to my account so far, I don’t why! It was my first time to stay in an economy type hotel. Positives; quiet, good space, desk, bed, ventilation and room temperature, and the hotel is not far from train station. Negatives; very poor lighting, water is leaking from bathroom to carpet outside every time use shower bath, no shower gel no shampoo and never been refilled, no phone’s communication, only what’s app, when I received a mail, it can stay forever and no body would until I checked with staff. No paid laundry service, breakfast was not included!! And I had to pay every single time after finish the breakfast. Breakfast always fresh, but same items everyday no new items, and NO HOUSEKEEPING UNLESS I ASKED FOR AND HAVE TO BOOK HOUSEKEEPING A DAY BEFORE AND ONLY FROM 10:00-14:00. Never supply with drink cups, and soft beverages even after housekeeping unless I ask for them which feel embarrassing.

This was good value. There were a few minor issues: 1. I could not figure out the temperature control 2. I could not figure out how to turn out the main lights while keeping the bedside lights on 3. The shower spilled water on the bathroom floor

The room was ok. Disappointed that you had to use what’s app to get hold of reception. We requested an Earl morning alarm call which did not happen. We also requested for a light fitting to be repaired this again did not happen.

It is well located, the hotel is clean, the rooms have a good size. Bed for the kids wasn’t made, no towels, no shanpoo

We book a room for 4, we only had towels for two, no shampoo, and the bed for the kids wasn’t made, we check it at 7pm, and have to chase this even when the booking was for 4persons. The also give you just one key, there no phone in the room, so to go to reception to complain I have to use the stairs, otherwise I would have left my family in the dark. And then I asked for an extra key to go back to my room using the elevator (that only works with a key) safety is good, but it’s hard to communicate with reception with no phones in the room, specially when you find your room is not set up

The hotel is ideally located and close to public transport. It is a new hotel, so all furnishings look new. Can't find any major fault. Stay was largely comfortable.

Not as before the pandemics

I used to stay at this hotel 2-3 years ago, because of his location and style - simple and functional. Back then all felt new and organised. These days we received a room that was showing as cleaned, yet the toilet and bedside tables were dirty. We were changed to another one which where the soap dispenser was broken and did not have enough towels. In the breakfast area, the toaster was half working- hence long queue, same for coffee. All these annoying little details that actually show a not so well maintained hotel anymore. Staff was nice as always, but visibly overwhelmed, lack of staff was more than obvious. We had a comfortable sleep, but please invest a little more in this place, we would like to return

Lovely new hotel, rooms quiet and well decorated, comfortable bed. Shower ok but only half a door, crazy design as the floor got soaked. Staff unfriendly and unhelpful and spoiled the whole experience. First time I’ve ever written that in a review. Great property. Brand new, good location even if it is zone 3. Things I didn’t like, the a/c is a joke the number of times it freaked out had me going crazy. I would wake up at 3am because it went crazy and made the room super hot or super cold. The rooms also are not very insulated so noise will carry

Good points: - value for money; good size room at a reasonable price. Quite stylish with some nice attention to detail such as the option of juicing your own oranges for breakfast. Bad points - communication with some staff was challenging due to a lack of fluency in English - theirs not mine! Restaurant meal was poor and although my complaint was speedily responded to by the Manager his offer of a memorable meal at a future booking was not what I wanted. The extremely disappointing meal I had already had being quite memorable enough!
