Dear Saman G., We are sorry to read your review, as we feel that it does not accurately reflect what we actually found when we inspected the room. On the day of your check-out, we personally checked the room and found three very small red ants. We were, of course, sorry about this. As our property is surrounded by greenery and nature, it is possible for small insects to enter from outside through one of the many tiny openings that inevitably exist in a property immersed in nature. However, we would like to clarify that we did not find a room “full of ants and bugs” or a room covered in dust and dirt as described in your review. Despite the very limited issue we actually found, we took your concern seriously and went considerably beyond what would normally be expected by offering you compensation of €128, covering both the room and dinner. For this reason, we are particularly disappointed to read a review that presents the situation in such dramatically different terms from what we personally verified. We always welcome constructive feedback and take our guests’ concerns seriously, but we also believe that reviews should accurately and fairly reflect the circumstances. Kind regards, The Management

Convenient location close to airport with excellent shuttle service. Restaurant was very good with high-quality substantial meals. Room was a little dark and tired but adequate for our needs. Surprised not to find china cups, glasses or milk in the rooms. Having to drink water and coffee with artificial whitener from paper cups was not what we expected at a Mercure establishment.

We arrived on a hot day and the free shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel was a welcome relief. The Reception staff member was friendly and efficient. The pool with towels was perfect. The bar and food for dinner was satisfactory. The room was spacious and the outdoor, private balcony was also spacious and a lovely space. The tennis court lights were left on a bit too long and the planes are noisy but this is to be expected close to the airport. The shuttle to the airport was a fantastic service.

Booked this stay, as I suspect many do, for the convenience and shuttle service to the airport . Positives included airport proximity and pool access. Negative for us was the hotel appears quite old and the air conditioner in our room was poor making it an uncomfortable stay.

Once accessed the room I visited the bathroom and noted incontrovertible evidences that the room was accessed/used, presumably after the housekeeper completed it, a possible security breach.
