I was expecting this hotel to be a bit naff but actually was very impressed. The room (So Comfy) was indeed very comfortable and roomy with great amenities. The linen was divine. The rooftop Bar was not open as it was Sunday and I do not rate the foyer bar but there's ample others nearby to go to. Room service was simple and in my opinion inexpensive. The wine list a little boring. Staff were lovely and breakfast was delicious with one of the best breakfast views in town! I'll be back in a heartbeat!

Well, we felt fancy and we been treated fancy!!! We were greeted with warm, friendly and helpful staff all the way from basement ( SPA ) all the way up to level 16 ( Hi-So Bar ) from the day we arrived until we left and that says alot of their customer service. The amenities and features are all spot on. I requested something by an email but didnt get a response but that was the only not so good I can fault. SO, thank you!

We booked thinking the Restaurant and Rooftop Bar would be open.We were never informed at any time until we wanted to book dinner.Not at all happy as we had come all the way from Coromandel. Breakfast was a disaster as we had ordered coffee tea and orange juice to which none had arrived when we had finished our breakfast. Asked several times and it finally arrived but never received the orange juice.

Hi we had a couple of nights last week at the lovely Auckland SO Hotel where we stayed in a SO Comfy room which was great, has a very different layout which gives you a lot of room, excellent bath and shower and a very comfortable bed. During this stay we were able to use the HiSo bar which was great,had excellent service from lovely Nicee which makes your evening better. All the Hotel Team( staff )were very friendly and helpful.This Hotel is in a great location at the lower end of the CBD so you can get some good walks around the waterfront and up Queen street etc.The Britomart station and shopping centre is over the road and the bus stops right out side so getting around is easy. We look forward to another stay soon.
