I like the view of my room and the breakfast experience. Breakfast show many New Zealand original food. I like the fruit and those juice.

Restaurant was amazing and well priced. No robes/slippers in room and a lot of road noise from level 2.

Have stayed a few times before but will not stay again. A few small issues that add up to enough to be annoying. We were woken up from 6:30 to constant banging above us which I am assuming was coming from the bar/restaurant area as we were on the 14th floor. The bathroom is so impractical, aside from having zero privacy, there is no adequate lighting at the mirror, and no obvious way to close curtains for privacy from outside the building?! Furniture was looking pretty tired as well. I wouldn't rate this a 5 star hotel, and we have stayed at many, being Diamond Accor status.

Another fabulous stay at the SO. We were greeted by Sudesh and he greeted me by name recognizing me from the last time I stayed. I was so impressed. He's a lovely friendly and professional person. Loved the room and amenities. A surprise dessert was delivered to us upon arrival. Good location, close to everything.
