Okay location, room very poor.

Room 403 beware!!! Very smelly! Not a bad location, a bit of a walk from the centre. Hotel staff were pleasant enough! Be warned about room 403, it is the very top room, but the final floor is by way of the most dangerous set of stairs I've ever seen. Only suitable for those with good mobility. Furthermore, the room absolutely stank of stale urine, this it seems was coming from the air con unit, so I imagine many of the other rooms smelt the same. When I mentioned this to the staff at checkout, there was just a slight downturn of the mouth, with no apology or offer for compensation. I shall not be returning to this hotel, and if you're reading this, you should also consider another option.

Great location, really friendly staff, clean, small but pleasant room. Was in walking distance of fabulous market, cafes, park and museums. Did a canal cruise which was awesome. The hotel staff were very helpful and helped with any arrangements needed.

Excellent Ibis near Rijksmuseum.

Really good staff, i'll say that straight away. Really friendly and helpful and it was a good reception experience. I had breakfast one day also and that was the best breakfast I have had at any ibis hotel anywhere. The prime reason for me to come to amsterdam was The Rijksmuseum and this is a great choice for that, its about a 15 minute easy walk from here. There's a market nearby and a lidl if you want some cheap snacks. About a 40 min walk to Dam square from here, but there are plenty of bars and places to eat nearby. The main entrance is tucked away in a side street and i didnt have nay issues with noise. Only thing I would say is that the small double is SMALL. I think 2 normal sized people would struggle in there! Fine room and it is cheaper but I would book a standard room next time.

Well situated hotel in a very quiet street. Very close to tramway no 4 - 2 minutes walk. Jump on tramway and be transported quickly to where you would like to go. Positive & helpful people at reception. Reasonable price, i.e. very good cost / benefit. Lidl shop close by. To a few rooms very steep staircase but you are alerted. I don't write reviews normally but this one deserved it. Will most likely return!

We arrived Tuesday the 4th in the afternoon a little to early to check in but we contacted the hotel before we arrived and was told we could leave our bags within the hotel when we arrived explained to receptionist that we had travelled through the night and was it possible too check in early was told the room we had booked was not ready we asked if we could upgrade room receptionist contacted his colleague who came to reception having looked at our booking said we could have a room that was available both of the receptionist could not have been more helpfull very much appreciated thank you
