We had a wonderful stay from beginning to end. Everything was seamless. The room was beautiful and the bed was absolutely amazing. The turn down service was a nice touch also. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning.

Had better stays here

Grace Couples - Confirmed reviews ALL

We came here for our honeymoon, as normal the food and spa were great, but the room needed some maintenance. I’ve stayed in this level of room before and it was fine, but the 309 room we had needs some maintenance. The aircon in the room only works on a cold setting, as it’s getting close to winter it made for a cold stay. The TV is also very glitchy and we gave up on it after a while. Might just need new batteries in the remote.

Kareem, as always makes the difference. Also backed up well this visit by Joseph at check-in and Connor in Grape & Olive. And, the team at Reception/check-in provided our requested / preferred room; Rm 628!

Charged twice for the room

The hotel is good, rooms are excellent, no complaints at all. But these guys charged my twice for the room, the second instance was 2 hours after my checkout. By then I was already on my way home - and now I am hassled with the refund, while also battling a 9 hour time difference. Anyhow, here’s my two cents : avoid this hotel. there are other similar properties right next to Sofitel and one might be lucky enough not to be charged twice for their room at them.

Well-worth a stay when you're in Auckland

I've stayed in Auckland several times, but the Sofitel Auckland Viaduct Harbour is my new favourite. The rooms are spacious, the gym/spa facilities outstanding, and it is centrally located. I was lucky to be offered a free room upgrade, too! If you're in Auckland, do yourself a favour and stay here. Tip: get the breakfast. The smashed avocado on toast is amazing!
