Terrible sound proofing - very noisy

Staff very friendly and welcoming. Good location. But rooms tired and needing modernized. Zero sound proofing between rooms so I hardly slept as I heard absolutely everything from the rooms round about as if they were in the room with us.

Lovely staff. Clean but desperately in need of an update.

Carpets were threadbare to the point of being a trip hazard. Leatherette on chairs was disintegrating. Decor was tired and shabby. Desperately in need of updating. Which is a shame as it is an interesting building. Staff were lovely. The place was clean.

Hotel was lovely and clean, but a party night was on the night music was very loud till midnight then stopped, then the guests in room 118 were shouting, talking very loudly all through night, at 5am another guest was banging loudly on there door swearing and shouting tell them to shut up as he had work in morning . He then punched the door. It went quiet for a while then the started making lots of noise ar 8am. Staff very friendly but it has put us off returning as you never know who ul have next door and walls are very thin

Good location for Perth City Centre, especially for musicians needing be close to the concert hall . Parking at the hotel I found particularly useful . Service v thorough yet informal . All in all one feels genuinely welcome.

Hotel was lovely and warm on a cold night, staff excellent, returned customer from a previous stay that had to be cut short due to a death in the family, and mercure honoured our stay Very impressed
