Not fully up to expectations

TripAdvisor rating 2.0/5

Peter-PKN Couples - TripAdvisor review

Expecting Mercure standards from GER and NL, it was a disappointment! Location is really great, but hotel needs big refurbishment. Room was so small that beds fitted in only just, and moving across room could only be done sideways (and we are not huge is size)! Wifi is bad and unsteady, but breakfast is OK.

ChilternTraveller TripAdvisor review

Perfect location for an Edinburgh stay, the room had amazing views over the city. The staff were friendly and efficient, the service faultless. Everything was first class and this would certainly be our first choice for an Edinburgh stay.

Well Located

Room was very tired. Looking on to a brick wall couldn't open the windows at night because of loud fans or air conditioning
