Well located booked for Christmas night out

This was booked due to our Christmas works night out Staff were extremely helpful very pleasant and friendly Accommodations was clean but basic Hotel was full of refugees Which we didn’t know in advance Christmas dinner was a disappointment Me personally my turkey didn’t have any gravy roast potatoes weren’t roasted They had a strange taste off them Veg was hard My friend had roast beef that was so thin and tough that she couldn’t eat it Resulting in her having to spit it out into a napkin Other members of our party got two lovely thick slices of roast beef If only all off our party had been given the same this would have made a difference The price of alcohol was extremely expensive £53 for 5 shots £8 for a spirit and mixer

Asked for a lower floor room due to mobility issues and was extremely satisfied that our room was the first door along the corridor which was perfect, staff really friendly and helpful, will definitely be back, thank you for a great stay

2nd time at this hotel visited last year and at hotel just now big different in a year booked an upgraded room but it was damp paper coming off walls etc not worth 100 and 25 pounds a night food a lot worse than only plus point staff still very good but needs updated noticed a big difference in a year
