We stayed 3 nights and it was a very pleasant break. The hotel is well located and very comfortable. We found the staff very friendly especially Parag. The only thing I would suggest is the restaurant menu choices would be able to upgrade on menu when you have the meals inclusive, otherwise a excellent stay.

Bin hadn't been emptied when we arrived. Room wasn't cleaned on the 2nd day and we had to get coffee, milk etc from reception

Dear Guest, Thank you for bringing these serious housekeeping issues to our attention. Please accept our sincerest apologies for the unacceptable lapses in service during your stay. We are extremely concerned to hear that: The bin had not been emptied upon your arrival. Your room was not cleaned on the second day of your stay. You were forced to collect basic amenities like coffee and milk from reception. These failures indicate a breakdown in our standard operating procedures, and we deeply regret the inconvenience and frustration this caused. We are addressing this immediately with our Head of Housekeeping to review staffing, training, and accountability to ensure all rooms are meticulously prepared before check-in and serviced daily thereafter. Lovely people and food was great ,bar food was great too , the only thing needs sorting is the corridor floors were awful , they made such a noise when walking along ,also no lift to second floor would be incredible 😀

Our stay was pleasant, but the rooms are a little tired, especially the bathrooms. But it was quiet, and the staff were extremely helpful.

On arrival in our room number 132 it was very cold as the window was wide open and the curtain broken, also we could hear the noise of a generator or an external fan all night which resulted in a very disturbed sleep. Breakfast was not the best, obviously mass cooked resulting in dried up eggs and bacon and black pudding too hard to cut. One positive and complimentary thing, Richard the night porter was a credit to the hotel, managing the reception and bar.

We are extremely sorry to read about the multiple significant issues that negatively impacted your experience and resulted in a very disturbed night's sleep. Please accept our sincerest apologies for the room being very cold upon arrival due to an open window and broken curtain, as well as the continuous noise from a generator or external fan throughout the night. These are unacceptable defects, and we are urgently investigating the source of the noise and having our maintenance team immediately repair the curtain and window seal in Room 132. We are equally disappointed to hear that your breakfast experience was subpar, with items like the eggs, bacon, and black pudding being dried up or too hard. This suggests a failure in our mass cooking and holding methods, which does not meet the standard we set for a satisfying morning meal. We are reviewing our buffet preparation and food holding practices with our kitchen team immediately. On a positive note, we are delighted that you found Richard the night porter to be a credit to the hotel for managing both the reception and the bar so effectively. We will ensure this high praise is passed on to Richard, as recognition for excellent service is highly valued. We regret that these issues marred your stay.
