This is the 2nd time I stayed in this hotel. The staffs were very cordial and supportive to us to make our stay pleasent. My 4 years old daughter likes the hotel. The attractive feature of this hotel is their leisure facility. Unfortunately, there was a engineering issue during our visit, so we weren't able to swim. However, my wife use the gym facility.

Our overall experience with you was good only because the staff were excellent. However, not being able to use the pool facilities was a big let down. As we have stayed at this hotel a number of times and always look forward to using the pool. We were not told on arrival only found out by trying to use the facilities. Did receive an email late on the first night.

We booked our stay to relax in the pool and spa and enjoy our time together as a f. before I start my chemotherapy treatment next week . Unfortunately this never happened because the spa was out of order for our entire stay .

The room we had was clean and comfortable, however the shower didn’t work the first morning, we had no hot water. I informed the receptionist , who was very apologetic and told me she would sort it. The next morning the shower was warm for 5 minutes then went freezing cold again! You could hear the people in the next room very clearly and they okayed dance music for hours that could still be heard when we had our tv on. We ate in the restaurant on the first night, my husband’s chips were not cooked , they were hard and cold, possibly still frozen. Restaurant staff were apologetic and changed them promptly. I had the feather blade of beef, the beef was ok , but the mash was very sloppy and greasy, there was a rim of grease around my plate from it, or from something! We used the pool, or tried to, the water was extremely cold. Anyone brave enough to go in was stating how cold it was and it was taking their breath! Steam room and sauna is dated, needs a good clean and refurb. Hot tub is too small, only 4 adults can fit in at a squeeze, which is a shame. The facility isn’t bigger enough for the size of the hotel and amount of people staying. On Sunday morning we had breakfast, I had an eyelash hair in my mushrooms! On check out I was presented with a bill for food, for the Saturday night, we didn’t even eat there that night! I had pad in full for Friday nights food and drink there and then in the restaurant, so I’ve no idea where that bill came from. Overall a disappointing stay, especially as we had booked it for our wedding anniversary. It’s a shame as the staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. The hotel could be lovely but not quite there yet.
