Room close to lift, noise from people for two nights running after midnight. Hotel itself expensive for the two nights of stay. There was Winter Sale, did online booking direct with the hotel as Mercure member. By my reckoning paid about £50 too much, was the website working correctly at the time I booked? Don’t expect to here back from you with this matter.

Amazing night at away at the hotel, staff couldn’t of done anything more, really enjoyed our stay and will 100% be visiting again soon. Rooms were up to date and very clean, breakfast was great and hotel is in a brilliant location within Liverpool town. Highly recommend this hotel.

Check in staff had never seen the friends and family vouchers we had so didn’t know how to proceed so was delayed on checking in and not what you need after a long journey.

Room 711 had a bedside light not working and there was a small steel cap missing from the bath tap. A few more milk cartons in the room would have been nice. But overall we enjoyed our stay; comfortable room and good breakfast. I don't recall the car park costing £11 last year, though.

We had 2 superior rooms 515 and 522. Both rooms were cold but could only get heating working in one we had to get a radiator from reception in 515. Free drink in room but no bottle opener. Light fitting missing off bedside in 522. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss nothing out at the same time. Overall Not what I would call superior.

Stayed here for three nights recently. Its right beside Pier Head so if you get a room with a view then you're lucky. Its clean, tidy and the bed was HUGE and extremely comfortable. The staff were pleasant but its a tiny bit dated. Would recommend if you're looking for a bit more than basic hotel in Liverpool.

We were on the 7th floor looking out to the Liver Building. The room was a generous size with a huge, comfortable bed and all the extra were provided. The breakfast was buffet style and the food was hot and plentiful, but the coffee machine let it down.

only issue was that we were locked out of our room as the key card would not work. Was given another card which also didn't work so had to wait for someone else to let us in.

We enjoyed our visit very much. The hotel was situated in a very convenient place near the Mersey and we were able to walk to all the things we wanted to see. Our longest walk was to the RC and Anglican cathedrals, which were well worth a visit.

It`s a nice and clean hotel with helpful staff. I did not sleep very well from Sat to Sun because in one of my neighbor rooms it was one person speaking so load or had the TV on so high that I could not sleep. And I would prefer a larger range of bread (not for toasting) for breakfast.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff but looking tired.

I am a regular visitor to this hotel and I am always well looked after by the staff, but there a few small things that always let the quality of stay down. E.g. there is rarely a bottle opener in the room, making it very difficult to open the coke bottles in the fridge. The last suite I stayed in (1206), the aircon unit in the lounge area was not working. The majority of the aircon units in the suites are damaged and cosmetically the place looks absolutely worn out. I am fortunate in that I get a free upgrade due to my membership status but if I was paying the full price for a suite and getting this lack of attention to detail I would extremely disappointed.
