It was this weekend the27th 28th of March that I along with my wife were due to stay at the Mecure Hotel. You should be aware that this will now not happen due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the booking was canceled approx. 2 weeks ago

stayed for 2 nights booked through travel zoo, a good deal however, I am dispute with you as you have charged me twice, two payments of £65 were taken out of my account on the 9th & 12th March and a further £130. I have contacted you on 3 occasions and you have no record of it, My bank has confirmed you have taken the additional payment and are taking up the dispute on my behalf. I hyave emailed you to inform you but again NO response.

myself and my grandson stayed here for the football, the room on arrival had a very bad smell of drains, mentioned this at reception, no problem gave us another room which was fine. I have stayed here many times I love the ATLANTIC TOWER HOTEL IN LIVERPOOL, WOULD,NT STAY ANYWHERE ELSE. The only quip I have is the price of drinks in the hotel bar, and I,m sure the parking charge rates could be a little more cheaper, staff in all areas I found to be very nice indeed, still simply the best hotel in liverpool

The staff was very friendly and helpful - but somehow giving the same time quite untidy feeling. The uniform was sloppily dressed and some of ladies had too much make up on. The room was ok, a bit too dusty for my taste and the cleaning girl didin't emply the bin. The breakfast was excellent!

I liked the tasty breakfasts and the comfortable beds at the hotel. I had dinner in the hotel restaurant one night which was average in terms of food quality, but saved by pleasant service. However there were various problems which were not resolved by the management, e,g., 1. One bedside light was not working. I reported this soon after our arrival but it was not fixed two days later. This made a dark room with poor lighting even darker. 2. I noted that there were no towels in the ground floor men's toilet, 24 hours later they still had not been restocked. 3. I checked with reception that check out time was 12 noon. Howeverwhen we came back from a walk around 11 am the key card would not give us access to our room. Since we had to finish packing and check out in order to catch a train, this was very stressful.

No room available for my booking on day although I booked AND PAID weeks in advance, checked in electronically the day before and left my luggage at lunch time, appalling service.

its a great location and my room overlooked the Liver Building it was a big room and a great view like a movie set - i acutally said WOW!

The Mercure is in a good location the staff are very friendly - they know how to make a manhattan - a plus in my opinion. not had the breakfast. The rooms are fine for the price - could do with a refresh but i'm a bit fed up with trendy jusshed up hotels.

The room was ok, very basic but good value for money. Location was nice too, a cheap parking behind the corner, cross the street to the docks, some good restaurants in 10 min walking distance.

We were a group of 4 and arrived for early checkin which was prompt and extremely friendly. Hotel was spotlessly clean and in light of the Coronavirus made us feel very safe, staff never stopped cleaning , we were very impressed.We had a meal in the restaurant which was the best steak I have ever had.Every member of staff was professional and obliging and hotel was a superb location for seeing all of Liverpool. The worst Mercure Hotel I have stayed at. The service was very poor at the reception, the room was warned out and needed refurbishment even though it was a superior/deluxe room. The breakfast was poor and not up the standard at Mercure hotels and other four star Accor hotels. Overall very bad experience.

Good location, but

On walking into the hotel mid-afternoon, the steps up to Reception were dusty; not a great image. The Receptionist was not rude, but equally was not very welcoming. The room was rather small, the bathroom cramped and the decor needs refreshing. Wonderful view over the River Mersey both in the day and at night. Dinner of Thai green curry contained red peppers, was served with popadoms and was rather liquidy; chicken carbonara was a very large portion for one person, so maybe a smaller version could be offered. Overall, hotel was acceptable but I wouldn't recommend it except for the view.
