Such a nice stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The bar staff are very good at remembering your order! They also keep you laughing which is nice. The bedrooms were lovely. Beds comfy, nice armchair for relaxing in and the wall decor was a nice touch. Very clean and relaxing

Went for a small private party, food was very good especially the pork belly! Staff were very friendly and helpful, dj was good and played music from various eras. Bedroom was very clean and had a huge bed which was nice. Breakfast in the morning was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed for a weekend on a spur of the moment get away. The hotel is really good value for money. Room was clean and tidy and larger than anticipated. Tim (restaurant) was very efficient and helpful. Plenty of parking (just make sure to enter your car reg at Reception). Would visit again without hesitation.

Had dinner with family at the Mercure Restaurant. A nice experience primarily due to the very attentive and friendly staff. We were really well looked after and nothing was too much trouble. Good food and drink that arrived promptly. Would recommend if you are in the area.

Gem Couples - Confirmed reviews ALL

Room was beautifully decorated with birthday decorations for my husbands 40th. Overall place is a little dated, and windows didn’t open or close properly. Sadly the restaurant wasn’t open New Year’s Day. Breakfast was ok, but not worth £12.
