Great location and service, rooms are warm ..very warm ! Happy hour in the bar is a nice touch and Tia is great behind the bar. Smooth check in process, great housekeeping, fab branded bathroom shampoos and shower gels, decent menu and good selection of beers

We had afternoon tea, and it was amazing. Everything was fresh, infact the scones were still warm. Our hostess, Amanda, was as amazing as the food. Could not fault the service at all, Amanda was friendly and made the experience even more enjoyable. As you will see, we forgot a before picture, but the after picture speaks volumes.

When arriving to hotel, reception staff were very friendly and helpful in both check-in and finding my room, bar staff were friendly and talkative in conversation. Restaurant staff were also friendly and welcoming and helpful with any dietary and allergy complications brought to them, they were insightful in different meals providing helpful opinions upon choosing

Super room , comfy bed, and great service from Tia at the bar. Food spot on too. I had the tempura prawns and the fish and chips, which were both fantastic, warm , and well served to our table of 8. The room was clean and well presented, and the shower hot. Good job.

I have stayed at the mercure hotel around 20 times over the last 12 years. I'm here for training through the railway. Most stays are around 2 to 3 weeks at a time. I have always been made to feel at home and ever need has always been met. All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful especially Tim who works in the restaurant. The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. If you are looking for a great stay away in this part of the country than I would highly recommend the Mercure hotel
