I stayed at Mercure Venezia during my trip, and while the hotel is well located with clean, modern rooms and a professional staff team, my overall experience was less comfortable compared to other hotels within the same brand. I found it disappointing that there was no standard luggage assistance service available, which I would normally expect from a 4-star hotel. I had to personally transport multiple heavy suitcases to and from my room using a trolley. When I inquired, I was told that porter service must be requested in advance or paid for separately, which felt inconvenient and not aligned with the expected service level. Regarding drinking water, only a single complimentary bottle was provided at check-in, and additional water was not offered as a courtesy and instead directed to a vending machine purchase option. Overall, although the hotel is practical in terms of location and cleanliness, the level of comfort and service did not meet the standards I have experienced in other Accor properties, and my stay was less comfortable than expected.
