Overall good experience, although the TV was an antique piece and the couch is in need of some repairs, as the segment where my leg was is slanted. The breakfast was great and a genuine high point with fresh high quality food. We didn’t know that we didn't need to pay for the Venice daily tax when booking at your location, and the only place this is mentioned is only in Italian at the front desk, and not English, so we missed it and bought them even though we didn’t need to.

No glass, no creamer, no milk, no sugar, had to request to get some basics. Poor customer service. Not expected of Novotel. Rooms were dated and smelled cigarettes. That's why cancelled Novotel and booked Holiday inn Milan.for the next leg.

Overall the stay was ok but no vegan hot meals provided. Also the hotel does not have steam and sauna. Air conditioning not working
