The hotel is well located, close to bus stations and the railway station. While the room was a bit dated, it was definitely cozy, quiet and clean and big enough for 3 people. The staff was polite and made us feel welcome and the breakfast had healthy fresh food with nicely decorated breakfast area. Even if it was a bit overpriced, overall we had a good experience and would return if I visit the region again.

I was travelling within Europe for 10 days and stayed with Mercure Florence, Rome and Novotel Venice. I must share that the experience at Novotel Venice is at the bottom for simple lack of Customer needs and sensitivity and we found the staff not welcoming at all. Let me quote an example of drinking water, 02 bottles of drinking water on day 01 and after that the focus of the staff is to make to buy the water, and to felicitate that expectations, our request to let us use the empty glass bottles to refill from tap was turned down and there were very few disposal glasses. One guy at reception is asking us to buy, other lady is proposing to fill up the bottle at level 1 water dispenser, extremely confusing. The ash basin in the toilet was also not cleaned properly during the stay. We are Vegetarian, we had to call food from Indian restaurant outside and when we asked for dinner plates, we were bluntly told to come down and collect ourselves. Extremely cold response. My intention of writing is to call for some more Customer sensitivity and lets us not provide similar experiences to other Customers. I hope it’s taken in right way for getting better and not perceived as complaint. BR Mukund C.

Booked with Accor hoping to skip the typical Venice low quality/high price service, but unfortunately the impression is that also Accor goes for this. Old room, 45 minutes to be served 2 focaccias (which was more like dried up bread, one with wrong filling), clogged sink from which vomited spaghetti resurfaced, cleaning personnel entering the room without knocking. Dear Accor, you may make a few ore bucks, but you are losing your reputation. Consider if it is worth it.
