We really enjoyed our stay at your hotel. It was close to the train and bus stations but a world away. The front desk arraigned a trip to Murano for us. So much fun. And we ate at one of the recommended places for one of our dinner and had a wonderful meal to end our trip.

I enjoyed the stay but unfortunately on my last night I was asleep early around 9:30pm and one of your staff members opened the door to my room. I think they got the room wrong but it gave me a fright and it was very unsettling. I’ve never had that happen before and for a woman travelling alone it was an unpleasant experience.

We had a lovely time at your hotel while in Venice.
However, while in Italy I believe my credit was hacked by someone at one of the 2 hotels I used that credit card at. I believe this because the friends we were traveling with were also hacked on the same day as us. I believe the hack came from a hotel because whoever hacked us, had our personal information, which a restaurant or store would not have had.
I’m not saying it is someone from your hotel because I can’t prove it but wanted to let you know what happened to us so you can verify you have security measures in place.

We spent a week at the Papadopoli with our family. The location of the hotel is very practical and the service was excellent. The breakfast was generous and there is a good choice of quality osterias within walking distance. The front desk team was extremely helpfull with advice and reservations.

The hotel is conveniently located within a short walking distance, just over one bridge, from the area where a driver can bring you from the airport. The location meant we had many long walks but that is part of the fun. The room was comfortable, spacious and quiet, although the decor is somewhat oddly mismatched and showing signs of wear and tear. The breakfast was lovely and a good value.

The room was beautiful. The breakfast options were fabulous. The location was very close to the train station and water bus area. We even found a wonderful restaurant nearby.
We did ask for two memory foam pillows, but sadly they never arrived. I asked to have change for 20 on 3 different times so that I could leave something for housekeeping. Sadly there was never any change available.
We still had a wonderful stay and would likely stay again.

In our booking we specifically requested a deluxe room overlooking the canal, since our primary reason for the visit to Venice, was to enjoy the canal view and experience it first hand. but unfortunately when we checked in we were not provided with this type of room but was given an executive suite with no canal views. This room was also infested with mosquitoes and i am allergic to insect bites and was bitten all over my face and neck. Obviously the room had not been used for awhile and properly fumigated in advance.We raised this issue with the front office and was given a 100 euro per night credit, which defeats the purpose.

At the time of check-in, we genuinely believed that offering you a complimentary upgrade to an Executive Suite was a thoughtful gesture, particularly as an Accor member. We are sorry that the room did not provide the experience you were hoping for.
As soon as we became aware of your concerns, we did our best to find an alternative solution. Although, due to the hotel’s occupancy, our options were limited, we were able to show you a suite with a view for your final night. Unfortunately, you preferred not to move rooms at that stage. Had we known earlier about your dissatisfaction, we would certainly have done our utmost to find a suitable solution.
We are also very sorry to hear about the discomfort caused by the mosquitoes. Given our location in Venice, surrounded by canals and overlooking the park, mosquitoes can occasionally enter when windows are opened. Nevertheless, we fully understand your discomfort, especially considering your allergy, and sincerely regret the inconvenience caused.

I was a bit upset about a complimentary boxed breakfast (to go) promised by Marco that was not honored by the reception area when we were checking out on 9/22/2026 between 6:45am and 7:00 am.

We have reviewed the circumstances with our team and, unfortunately, there was a misunderstanding regarding your breakfast arrangement.
Your reservation was on a room-only basis, and this information should have been accurately verified before confirming the takeaway arrangement, but this did not happen.
We fully understand your disappointment, especially as you had informed our team in advance of your early departure and were assured that breakfast boxes would be prepared for you. We are sorry that we did not deliver on what had been promised.
