Fantastic spot to take a lovely walk to each of the sights you’d want to see. Lovely local restaurants too. Hotel itself is beautiful, we had a fabulous room, staff were very friendly and helpful. The perfect place to have celebrated our 30 year anniversary .

We loved our suite and the views. Hotel was very convenient to the bus station (easy walk). Staff cordial and breakfast good. Rooms very comfortable.

we grabbed our 20+kg luggage and left the hotel on foot by saying out loud "just nonsense"... this was our honeymoon. Not happy at all. But there's a catch - the hotel. the facilities and specially our room (suite with a balcony) was super. The hotel and rooms are very clean. Super work! It's just the service or the support to you (or the lack of it) specially in a city w a special attention to logistics etc, which lets you down big time. We booked one of the best rooms in the hotel, but felt we were invisible. The proper word would to describe the experience is probably "ignorance". Nobody cares that you are here as in a few days you leave anyways so its not that important to make an effort. Couple of situations (just those little things) just to name a few. - we booked "romantic" breakfast to our room throughout our stay. first morning were wondering where's the breakfast, so we called the reception just to realize we should've order it until 5am (just like regular room service - not too romantic id say lol). So we almost missed the general breakfast aswell. Second morning we got our inroom romantic breakfast (funny thing was that two omelettes were on a one plate lol). Third morning there was no room service menu available to order lol so we sort of gave up and we went downstairs again. and ps when they serve it you anyway get EUR 10 fee regardless that everything is already paid beforehand. And it's not the fee of the lack of breakfast thats killing our feeling (we can surely "put the slippers on" and go downstairs for breakfast), it's the ignorance - you get the feeling that nobody really cares about your journey, your experience here in hotel, here in Venice. - water taxi to airport. on the last night i asked to organize us a water taxi to conclude our romance with a water taxi to airport. the reception guy said although it's late he will try to do it and promised to call us in the morning. when nobody called at the agreed time i called 15 min after just to realise there was no possibility of getting a taxi and the guy didnt have any other ideas to get us to the airport (although we were quite near the ferrovia and regular taxi point). So not only we got to do some heavy exercises w our luggage, we nearly missed our flight. And again it's not the exercise that pissed us off, it's the ignorance that it's ok to promise (to call) but not deliver. And when checking out you remind them about the situation, then instead of being sorry or providing some alternative solutions we hear justification that they have done everything right, we just gave the assignment too late in the evening (true) and we ourselves are totally and only party to blame, we are left with a bad experience. We love Venice, have been here many times, and will surely be in the future, just not this hotel. We have been in suites in various places across the globe, but we havent received such ignorance anywhere. Maybe there's something to think about. Starting from the airport pickup option for the clients. But it's just us and our experience. Others could be luckier.

VERY NICE & CLEAN ROOMS WITH ALL THE AMENITIES AS LISTED. THE HOTEL RESPONDED TO MY EMAILS QUICKLY WHICH WAS VERY HELPFUL & KIND. I STAYED IN A VERY EXPENSIVE DOUBLE TRIPLE ROOM WITH A BALCONY & CANAL VIEW I STAYED THERE FOR 13 NIGHTS & FOUND THE FRONT DESK STAFF TO HAVE A LACK OF OF GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WAS NEVER GREETED WHEN I CAME DOWN TO LEAVE OR RETURNED. EVERY TIME I PASSED THE FRONT DESK THE STAFF PUT THEIR HEADS DOWN EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE NOT BUSY WITH A GUEST OR ON THE PHONE WHICH SURPRISED ME SINCE I HAVE BEEN IN CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR 30 YEARS. MADE ME FEEL VERY UNCOMFORTABLE AS I AM A SICILIAN AMERICAN. THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW. THEY DON'T PROVIDE ENOUGH HANGERS HAD TO CALL & ASK 3 TIMES FOR MORE. ONLY GOT A FEW MORE SO I HAD TO HANG 3 ITEMS ON EACH HANGER WAS NO CHAIR ON THE BALCONY & HAD TO ASK MANY TIMES TO GET ONE NO DIRECTIONS HOW TO WORK THE AIR CONDITIONER NEVER GIVEN ANY INFO THAT YOU HAD TO PUSH O TO GET TO LOBBY NEVER WAS TOLD THAT THE FRONT DOOR WAS LOCKED AT A CERTAIN TIME & THAT THERE IS A BUTTON YOU HAD TO PUSH TO GET INSIDE FIRST 2 NIGHTS I WATCHED A MOVIE ON NETFLIX THAT WAS IN ENGLISH CALLED FRONT DESK & HAD A TECHNICIAN COME UP TO SHOW ME HOW TO WORK REMOTE WAS TOLD THAT ONLY SPORTS & NEWS WAS AVAILABLE IN ITALIAN & TOOK MY REMOTE & GAVE ME ANOTHER ONE NO ICE BUCKET IN ROOM NOR WAS TOLD WHERE AN ICE MACHINE WAS LOCATED ASKED FOR THE CONCIERGE & FRONT DESK SAID THEY WERE THE CONCIERGE & NOT ALLOWED TO PRINT MY BOARDING PASSES MY LOCAL GUIDE CAME EVERY MORNING & WHEN I TOLD HER ALL THIS SHE SPOKE TO THEM SO A TABLE WAS BROUGHT UP FOR THE BALCONY ,AN ASHTRAY & MY BOARDING PASSES WERE PRINTED OUT & SHE SHOWED ME HOW TO WORK THE AIR CONDITIONER . THESE WERE THE ISSUES I HAD TO DEAL WITH WHICH MAY SEEM UNIMPORTANT FOR A 2 NITE STAY BUT 13 NIGHTS WAS VERY COSTLY & I WAS NOT TREATED WITH RESPECT OR GIVEN ANY INFO ABOUT THE HOTEL I DID GET MY WAKE UP CALLS I LOVED VENICE BUT WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN EVEN IF IT WAS FREE NORMAL PROCEDURE FOR ALL GUESTS IS TO TELL THEM INFORMATION ABOUT THE HOTEL WHEN THEY CHECK IN
