We stayed at the Papadopoli Hotel on our second visit to Venice and it was excellent in all respects. Great location away from the main attractions but less than 20 minutes walk. 2 minutes walk to the Grand Canal and 5 minutes to the Railway station. Excellent room for 3 people with fabulous bathroom and the best shower I have ever experienced in Europe - great water pressure and loads of hot water. Very good restaurants within 5 minutes at reasonable prices. Hotel service was of a very high standard and accommodating. Would definitely recommend.

We were warmly welcomed at the hotel on arrival and check in was done quickly and efficiently. The hotel rooms were clean and tastefully decorated with Murano glass artwork. Also highly appreciated were the local snacks that were given as a welcome gift. The bar served a great aperitivo with a good selection of wines and cocktails. The breakfast was good, with the extra effort to bring the Christmas atmosphere into the food served highly appreciated! Great place to stay for a relaxing trip to Venice!
