4.5/5.0… we were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The staff were terrific. The hotel is beautiful. We had a room overlooking the canal & square. It was wonderful! We had 1 miscommunication with an employee but it was settled well enough. Despite that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there! We recommend Papadopoli.

Stayed just one night here after travelling around Italy for 2 months. It just felt like a little bit too f luxury after lots of travelling. Quieter area of Venice I haven’t visited before and this hotel was so comfortable, desk staff amazing and helpful, and the best breakfast I have had in Italy this trip. I am staying there again in August for 4 nights before flying home after 3 months of travel and couldn’t think of a better place to finish my holiday in ☺️

My wife and I recently returned to Venice, a city that consistently holds a special place in our hearts and ranks as one of our three most favorite cities in the world (the other two being Bangkok and London). Our sixth visit to amazing, enchanting, unique, and wonderful Venice was extra special because it marked our second stay at Hotel Papadopoli Venezia - MGallery. Unbelievably, this stay was even better than our first, in June 2022 (which I reviewed here on TripAdvisor). The hotel's tranquil location in the quieter Santa Croce district is a major attraction for us. It offers a restful escape from the maddening crowds of San Marco, while still being within easy walking distance or a vaporetto ride to San Marco and/or Rialto. The warm and friendly welcome from Marco, who remembered us from our previous stay, set the tone for another wonderful experience. Recognizing my status as an Accor ALL member, we were upgraded to a beautiful Deluxe Double Room with both a canal view and a balcony — making us feel like locals as we enjoyed pizza and wine on our first night. Accor certainly recognizes, values, and rewards loyalty to their brand. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in, and the soft pillow was so perfect I was tempted to take it with me. The entire team at Hotel Papadopoli deserves high praise, compliments, and sincere thanks. They couldn’t do enough to make my wife & me feel welcome and valued, not just as customers, but as guests. Nothing was too much trouble for them (even though we aren’t very demanding). Hotel Papadopoli’s general manager, Ms. Pamela Merlini, clearly runs a first-class operation, and should be extremely proud of the experience she and her team deliver to their guests. Our second stay at Hotel Papadopoli Venezia - MGallery easily surpassed all of our previous stays in Venice, including our first stay at Hotel Papadopoli in June 2022. If you're planning a trip to Venice, look no further than Hotel Papadopoli Venezia - MGallery. If my wife & I are fortunate enough to return to Venice for a seventh time, we will once again stay at Hotel Papadopoli Venezia - MGallery. Thank you, Ms. Merlini and Team!!

Jellyblush Solo travel - TripAdvisor review

This was an excellent hotel I’d highly recommend if staying in Venice. It’s only a short walk from the train station. On your return the hotel can arrange a porter to help with your bags for only $8 euro per bag - great considering there’s 2 bridges Rooms were quiet, bed extremely soft. All mod cons and I was impressed it had robes and a turn down service The best part was it being away from the crowds around St Marcos. It’s still surrounded by great food shops and views but much less hectic The bar was excellent and the hotel restaurant with garden views exceptional. Didn’t expect to find this level of luxury from an Accor hotel at this price in this location. The only thing that marred an otherwise perfect stay was the alarms going off 6 times between 1am and 3am on my last night. Weary guests trooped up and down the flights of stairs each time. The alarm isn’t the hotels fault but the communication was poor. No explanation was given and the next day on check out it was not mentioned or apologised for even though clearly it will impact the guests nights sleep. That was disappointing - i think an email or note from management to all guests offering apologies would have been in order.
