The Ibis Ambassador in Insadong is a good hotel in a really great area. The hotel it's in good conditions, with great and very kind staff. You also have hot bath a little gym and everything to do proper laundry. The rooftop offer you a great view and the position of the hotel is really great to go everywhere. The beds are very comfortable. However, a big minus is the cleanliness of the rooms. Apart from changing the towels and making the bed, everything is left as it was.

The location was perfect, close to transport and great food spots all within walking distance. Room was clean, we only had a small room as we were only there for a short amount of time but it was fine for what we needed!

Ibis Ambassador Insadong was the perfect location away from the hustle and bustle of the streets in Myeongdong but close enough to walk to. Within 10mins from the Insadong Cultural Street and 20mins from the Palace, the team at Ibis are well versed in amenities close by, able to help in both English and Korean fluently, and helpful in every step of your stay. I especially know of two outstanding employees in Alice Kim and Robert. My husband injured himself during our vacation and had to go to Hospital. Alice helped us navigate translation with the nurses and when returning, Robert for the rest of our stay whenever he saw my husband would help him in any way possible, be in opening a door, swiping for a lift or putting his jacket on. Alice provided exceptional service and I commend the team at Ibis for the wonderful experience. From front desk, to housekeeping and nightshirt, there was no one who didn't have a friendly smile and warmness to their greetings. This is by the far the best experience we have had around the world with an Ibis team and I highly recommend Alice and Robert for promotions and other opportunities in other locations to embed their ways of working and culture. It could have been an u pleasant stay with my husband's injury day 4 of our 20 day trip, but Ibis Insadong team made it more memorable and showed what South Korean hospitality is all about. We will be coming back again in 2026 and plan to stay only in Ibis Insadong everytime we come to Seoul. Gamsahamnida Robert and Alice and the rest of the Ibis team at Insadong. I will be sending a message to head office to ensure you are all recognised for your invaluable service.

Very well located, a busy area but quiet at night for a good sleep. Although surrounded by bars and restaurants so a good nightlife surrounds the hotel, just not as busy as Myeongdong. Staff were exceptional, very friendly and helpful. Hotel was immaculately clean.
