I especially appreciated Sabrina or Sabina at your executive lounge. She was especially helpful to organise our meetings, my video recording and attentive to our ever need. Wonderful staff! I would also like to highlight Justin at the lounge as well for one evening we overstayed the business hours and Justin helped.

The hotel felt very new and well maintained. The staff were welcoming and attentive. When we had bad smell in our room, they moved us to another one the next day.

The stay at Sofitel Haikou has amazed me again. The room was big, cozy and stylish. The service was outstandingly good. Hotel staff were warm and friendly, especially lounge manager, Sabrina Wang, and restaurant manager, John Xu. Sabrina was very courteous, she and her team arranged the room for me and made everything easy and convenient. John and his team - Kwee Zeen & Lemon 1900 Bistro Bar, were great too. They warmly arranged the breakfast and other dining experiences for me, which was incredibly enjoyable. Everything was above my expectations. Looking forward to coming back again soon !

The Sofitel suite room is quite comfortable with a nice seaside view from a high point. The hotel is conveniently located in the city Center.the 36floor art decor bar and restaurant is an impressive city icon.

1. Sabrina checked my reservation record and emphasized to me "You have booked the most basic room type, if I would like to upgrade." I said no. 2. I arrived at 13:45 with pre-informed arrival time of 14:00, Sabrina told me no room is available yet and it will take at least around 40 minutes, I had a meeting planned at 14:00 so this was not very helping. 3. Sabrina repeated if I wanted to have a room available immediately, I can choose the upgrade with ocean view room type. I accepted the suggestion whether or not it was a trick. 4. I got the room card from Sabrina and was trying to go from lobby floor 35 to 30F where my room was, the card was not recognized by elevator. I went back to reception, explained the reason, Sabrina took over my room card wired over something on her table, passed on the card to another colleague, asked him to escort me to the elevator and said to him: the card should be working, you can show him. Overall not a pleasant start at all.

I have stayed in Haikou several times and this is my first time to stay at Sofitel Haikou.New building,downtown position attracted me to choose it.Without doubt,this stay proved my right choice!Good views,nice food and friendly staffs make my stay excellent!Especially the Sofitel Club staff Edith who is kind and warm-hearted.I think I would stay at Sofitel Haikou when I go to Haikou in soon.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed a wonderful night together. The first time she learned to swim was in the hotel swimming pool. She had a great time. This moment is worth commemorating! And Edith in the Executive Lounge, she is gorgeous and intelligent~

The staff were attentive and ensured that the extra bed for our daughter was provided. The room was spotless and regularly cleaned. The club room was great but lacked cold or sparkling water. The Chinois restaurant was fantastic with the nicest food I have had for a long time. The pool was lovely but needed more outdoor seating and the option to purchase drinks and snacks as we were were there for several hours with our daughter. The spa treatment was the best I have had in China.

The only one hotel in Haikou I’d want to stay again

3rd time to stay at Sofitel Haikou. The only one property I’d like to celebrate the bday, Valentine’s Day and spend time with my families. Special thanks goes to Sabrina from club in the 33rd floor. She and her team take good care of us during my whole stay. Even upon arrival, Sabrina will ask for my all needs in detail. I specially come here for celebrating 520 with my bf. Can’t say thanks enough for her service and arrangements. And Luke at the concierge. He helped to settle down the birthday setup for me on Dec. in last year. Here is one thing, when we had breakfast at the 34th floor, a fly just landed on the Rice Noodles I was eating. The manager there called John came to me and issued an apology and extended the recovery. I appreciated for his assistance and professional service. But to be honest, I never expect any defeat in hygiene would happened in Sofitel. And Evan, in the restaurant was considerable to put my phone in the chair for charging conveniently.
