Let be very clear here, location, staff, breakfast brilliant, and very clean, outside of the hotel, loads of places to eat, drink, catch a concert but the rooms where very depressing, dated and by throwing a mattress top over an aging mattress doesn’t really cut it. I was booked in for 3 nights and after returning for my 2nd night stay, I decided to grab my belongings and see if I could make the last train home from Euston to Chester, then stay another night. This could be a great hotel, if they spent a little bit of money on small quality beds. I am going to give it a 3*, but little enhancements could easy improve the rating. Thanks, but I won’t be returning!

This hotel is not n the best location after dark. However it t is near a huge shopping mall and 2 minutes to an underground station. The hotel itself was very expensive for what was provided. There were no hand towels and no facial tissue provided. The television stations were tenuous at best and the ones I would have liked to have watched were scrambled.

The location is excellent, and the bed is comfortable. However, the shower water pressure is too low, making it difficult to shower. Additionally, there were no complimentary bottled water, slippers, or a small fridge in the room.
