The room was small but clean and adequate for our needs the breakfast was good and plentiful. The shower was a bit difficult to enter and use and was badly designed.

very uncomfortable beds

Front counter is great, basically the human factor is really good, but the beds need an upgrade, they are very uncomfortable, we were at this location 2 years ago and it seems that they are the same beds and overused.

No ventilation and dirty

The hotel is centrally located, all the staff is friendly the security person, the front desk and the buffet staff all were very kind. There is no ventilation in the rooms, the windows do not open and during COVID times it is essential to have fresh air. The exhaustion fan in the bathrooms is non existent! We felt claustrophobic we were explained that windows like that are used for hurricanes but we haves stayed in many other hotels in the area that were able to have fresh air in the rooms by having a different kind of windows. The size of the beds are very small my husband and I were not able to fit in one bed and I am very tiny. I slept on top of the sheets fully dressed because the sheets looked not washed. There was make up on the walls that I removed by spraying hand sanitizer, the floor in the bathroom has a black stain. The towels looked old. We stayed for one night only and I regret it. The pictures on the website show the rooms are small but definitely don’t show how dirty it is and how a couple can’t fit in a bed.

Everything was perfect. Great price, great location, smooth check in. The front desk ordered us a cab to the airport very early in the morning and it showed up right away. The one and only complaint I would have is the bed. I know it is a small room but one double bed is just too small for two adults.

I liked all aspects of the hotel, parking, centrally located, near restaurants and shopping centers, and near hotel. The only part that we did not like was the breakfast buffet, we bought out of convenience. The hot food was cold, eggs were cold, the meat brought directly from the kitchen was also cold. The meat should have come out hot and the food in the chafers should be maintained hot for food safety (to prevent food poisonings) and desirability. Having the chafers covered and hot should be easy, given that the food is currently being served by hotel staff. While on the subject of food, may I suggest a better tasting coffee and less watering down the orange juice.

I had a great time at Ibis Centro Cancun. Very helpful and friendly staff. My special thanks to the nice lady who works during the day as part of the security staff. She was the nicest one! The room and hotel is in a good location and its close to a mall. However the hotel lobby is not comfortable, there is just two chairs and a table, it would be better if hotel can have a more comfortable lobby.

Hotel had convienent location... opposite a major shopping mall and bus routes to all major locations around the city.supermarket next door and a wonderful coffee shop also adjacent to the Otel. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Also housekeeping did a great job. Only negative we the wifi ..kept losing the connection
