What didn't go wrong? The air vents in the bathroom meant we could hear the child in the next room screaming. We emailed 3 times in advance to make dinner reservations, they said to wait until we arrives, we arrived and you told us you were all booked and we'd have to eat at the BBQ even though I'm vegetarian. You recommended a dive company that was HORRIFIC and UNSAFE only for us to find out you partner with a different company on site. Where did the place you sent us to come from? The TV options didn't work, you could never hear the front desk on the other side of the in room phone, food was cold and took so long, staff didn't know what restaurants were open, and I watched the front desk BLATANTLY lie to me thinking I didn't understand Spanish when you cancelled your activities. AWFUL experience and you did nothing about it when we complained in person. In fact, you Whatsapped me to make sure my next meal was lovely and then it was the worst one we had the entire trip. And then when I did ask for something you didn't respond for a whole day until we were checking out! Truly terrible.

Overall, we had such a great time at the SLS Playa Mujeres! The staff and the resort itself were incredible- everyone was so friendly and accommodating and the pool/rooms/restaurants were stunning. The food was the best I’ve had at any all inclusive resort! Just a few points of constructive criticism: 1. The “worst” part of our stay was by far breakfast. There is only one location (The Market) where the entire resort can get breakfast. This leads to it being extremely crowded, and there were kids running all over the place. My suggestion would be to maybe have a smaller buffet available at Twiggy for adults only. This would alleviate some of the crowd at The Market and give the people who don’t necessarily want to be around kids a bit of a break. 2. I would also recommend having someone periodically rake the beach, especially when there is seaweed. Some other resorts do this and it’s really nice for guests who want to spend time on the beach. 3. I would also recommend sending out the activities schedule a little earlier. We usually only received it the day of, so it didn’t give us much time to plan our day. Even if we just received it a day earlier, it would have been great. 4. More water aerobics! It was scheduled at the adults only pool one day, and there was a big crowd- everyone loved it! I’d recommend doing it a bit more often, it was really fun. Overall we had a great stay though! We would definitely recommend it!

We had our wedding here in February and the resort made it the perfect experience. The staff is amazing and very accommodating. We had 44 guest with us of friends and family, who all raved about the resort. The wedding team needs extreme work, but it still was an amazing day.

I stayed as a part of the resort collection through American Express and this stay did not meet those standards. Not only did the hotel not have any flexibility or availability to use the benefits of the resort collection, but when I used the credit at the spa the massage left me with two 1-2 inch bruises on my back. The front desk staff was rude on the multiple occasions that I went up there. There was only one restaurant available for breakfast and the line was crazy and on more than one occasion we had to order room service because they could not accommodate us. Same goes with the dinners - all dinners had to be reservation only and if you did not book this more than 5 days in advance you were not getting a reservation.

We came in as a family and was treated poorly. everything was an issue . it was more like work than vacation.
