Spent a week with son's family, unfortunately, we all caught the flu bug, therefore did not get to enjoy all the amenities of the resort. Overall, the stay is nice, resort facilities are very new, clean and all staff are very friendly and extremely helpful.

The hotel itself is beautifully designed and visually stunning, but nearly every service interaction was disappointing. My parents booked a swim-out room and were placed at the far end where most of the area was grass, and there were no steps to enter the pool. I had arranged through the brand ambassador, Laura, to have my brother’s room decorated for his birthday, but the request was never communicated. When I called the night before to confirm, the Concierge agent spent several minutes complaining that she “never got the message” instead of helping. The room was never decorated. Our dinner reservation at Cleo was at 7 PM, but we were not served until 10 PM. I had to leave early to put my daughter to bed, and while the server and manager brought my meal to the room, the order was still incorrect—even after going through it multiple times. At the steakhouse, staff repeatedly forgot my food allergy and brought dishes containing the allergen. Room service food was consistently cold. Housekeeping also stole my humidifier. We reported it to the front desk, and my husband confirmed the investigation was filed, but later interactions with Concierge were met with more frustration and complaints from staff about “communication issues.” Despite advertising itself as family-friendly, the hotel pushes “Patrón shots” constantly, and the kids’ club hours are extremely limited: only 10–11 AM and 4–6 PM. We also rented a cabana for $60 from an employee named Carlos. When we returned two days later to rent another and explained the previous price, the pool attendant insisted it wasn’t possible. We gave her Carlos’ name and told her it was already charged to our room, yet she made no effort to verify the information and simply waited for us to leave the kids’ pool area. The only staff members who truly stood out were Moses, the bartender, and Jonas at the Italian restaurant. Jonas’ service and ability to anticipate needs were exceptional. Overall, while the property is beautiful, the disorganization, poor communication, and lack of service make it a hotel I would not return to.

Stayed at SLS Playa Mujures for just over a week in December - Fabulous beach front hotel resort with clean sandy beach and good facilities: Pools and Gym, and tasty themed restaurants: Mexican, Asian, Mediterranean and American. The staff are definitely the hotels best assets, the rooms were spacious, well equipped and kept spotlessly clean.
