The room booked was a using a Plus membership free night for a room with 2 double beds. I did put in a request for one bed as we're a couple but this was not accommodated. Understand that this is completely subject to availability but from what I saw of the property, it wasn't booked out so I do question whether my request was ignored. The room itself is in need of a refurbishment. The bathrooms were bad - insects were everywhere. I do note the location and the sign warning guests of insects about but there was a visible gap at the bottom of the door and I'm assuming gaps elsewhere as they kept coming in. Service was excellent at the restaurant and front desk. Gardens seem well kept except for the fountain with the stagnant water.
