The power went out. I can’t believe a multi billion dollar/frank company does not have power back up. Generator. This is a popular business. The power went out at 1.25 pm and didn’t return until around 8 am the next day. No one (staff) had any indication. We were just left in the dark all night. Ty his is 2025 and pretty poor.

Loved the rooms, we had 3 side by side and with a back door we were very close to the pool. Kids loved it. I loved all the trees and hedges

We stayed three nights at the Mercure with breakfast included. Two of the three mornings, we were the first to arrive for the breakfast meal but somehow with us being the first the food was all room temperature. The staff on our final night was the worst part of the experience. My wife had decided that we should try our hand at the pool table located in the bar area. We ordered our first round of drinks and played. When we needed to have a second round of drinks, we rang the bell that is provided to bring a staff member if none is present. After waiting approximately 10 minutes two other couples arrived and they appeared to desire drinks as well. One male rapidly rang the bell several times which brought the front desk lady. The gentleman allowed me to order our drinks as we were there first. I told the front desk lady our drink request, a cocktail (Long Island Ice Tea), she hesitated, I told her that it is on the hotel's drink menu. She responded that she would go get the lady that is supposed to be working the bar. That lady was busy waiting tables in the restaurant and appeared to be the only wait staff member. The front desk lady returned to say that the lady will be with us shortly. The other two couples left after a short wait. My wife and I continued our game of pool waiting to get our drinks. Approximately 15 minutes later, the bar lady appeared made drinks for what must be restaurant guests, went around to the front desk and spoke with the front desk lady and then left with the drinks. We left after that. As we walked past the front desk, the front desk lady wished us a good evening. How nice. The next morning there were three wait staff members in to work the breakfast meal. Would have thought that if you have a bar you might have a staff member work it and ones that know how to work at a bar. Also, some consideration for having to wait for the busy staff would have been appreciated. The front desk lady could not have been more uncaring. We have received better treatment at McDonald's and have food that is hotter. The spa water next to the pool was cool. Most spa's are hot to relax and soothe. And all the dead bugs floating in the spa was a very nice touch. Not clear when the last time the pool area had been cleaned. Definitely do not recommend staying here.
