Spent a girls weekend and had a ball. We were surprised when we walked into our room, and it was a huge suite. It made for a comfortable and memorable stay, even though the decor needs modernising. We also thought the staff were so lovely. The restaurant has great food, but the breakfast needs a little work.

I first stayed here in 1995 for a conference. In the middle 2000’s with my children. This time at 59 with my grand daughter. It needs a refresh on rooms and the pool. I get the bugs but marked and old fridges and poor locks are really not good enough. So , so very downhill from the glory days. Worth it for access to HVG but really ordinary compared to other chains. Needs to invest more for the price.

An old hotel without proper maintainness. The pool was covered by tree leaves. The spa was cold and not functioning. There is a restaurant but doesn't offer lunch. The phone in the room can't dial reception or any hotel service numbers directly. I had to look for their number which went to their general line and couldn't get through. I asked for late check out to 12pm. Their housekeeping came to clean around 11am. The whole experience was extremely disapoiting.

The location was excellent, and the staff were friendly; the breakfast let us down. Two reasons: the overall breakfast was not great; the food and coffee were ordinary. Even though we had this included as part of our platinum membership, we chose to eat out the other days. The second is more about a breakfast blackout for members on the public holiday. this is the first i have heard of this. Not that it impacted us, because we chose to eat out rather than have the breakfast there.
