Hotel was great and staff were wonderful. The reason i was dissatisfied was because the room we stayed in had no water pressure in the shower and the water was not hot the evening we arrived. It was late in the evening and if it was earlier when i showered i would have complained to staff. Then we left early the next morning for an appointment. I have stayed here on a number of occasions but this time i was disappointed because i was really looking forward to a nice hot shower after working all day then driving 2 hours to the hotel.

The bed was very comfortable and I had a great rest. Before arrival I was offered rose petals, water and wine, but only the wine was provided (which was lovely). Not a big issue, but it would be nice if offered extras were followed through. As a returning guest over the past 12 years, I’ve noticed the hotel hasn’t had many updates and is starting to look a little tired. I do understand how expensive renovations can be, though.

First time staying at this location. We found our large ground floor room backing onto the maintained gardens near the pool area to be quiet and peaceful. Easy access with car parking at our front door.

Breakfast was terrible there were no staff, barely any food, all cold, plates dirty. Not worth the money that’s for sure
