I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience. The room had a strong, persistent odor that made it extremely uncomfortable to stay in. Despite trying to ignore it, the smell was overpowering and made it difficult to relax. As a result, I was unable to get proper sleep throughout the night, which significantly affected my overall stay. Cleanliness and basic room freshness are fundamental expectations, and this was clearly lacking. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves their housekeeping standards so future guests do not face the same issue.

People book rooms expecting a five-star experience, but Novotel is nowhere near that standard. First of all, it took multiple call attempts to reach the front desk after booking. The executive assured me they would arrange something special since we were celebrating a birthday, but nothing was actually done. The lobby carpet was extremely dirty and smelly—it felt more like a low-budget local hotel. Inside the room, the couch was dirty and unhygienic, with cigarette burn marks on it. The entire room also had an unpleasant smell. The room Wi-Fi was extremely poor. It was very difficult to reach the service number (333). They take callback requests, and when they call back, the voice is often unclear or not audible. We had to make several calls just to get the food menu, as both QR codes in the room were linked to housekeeping instead. The amount charged was not justified in any sense. Very poor experience overall with Novotel. They should invest some money and at least replace those smelly, worn-out carpets.
