The stay was OK, First the hotel was super busy with a fashion event which made the check in like Circus, they checked us in a room which is far less than the expectations, the smell in the room was awful and room was small although I booked a luxury room and the reception claimed he did an upgrade. After I complained the reception upgraded me to an imperial room which was a nice gesture from the hotel. But Honestly the stay wasn't the best as expected from sofitel from the entrance of the hotel and the concierge guys starring at the guests to the reception response and slowness to the room condition where it is old and even sofas has big stains and TV not working, room service is worst. I would rate this stay 4/10 and this only because they did me an upgrade but I wouldn't stay again.

We stayed at Sofitel for one night. Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience. Although the room looked nice and clean, the biggest turn off was the fact that there were so many flies in the room. Besides that, after travelling all day to get some rest, we had to struggle with noisy construction on the floor above and no air conditioning in the room. The staff did try very hard to rectify all the issues we were facing and they eventually moved us to another room at about 10 pm. The room was nice and clean but it had another issue - the water in the shower was scalding hot and there was no col water. The breakfast was very nice with lots of choice. However, I have to point out that the they need to work on cleanliness. Needless to say, it wasn’t the experience we were looking forward to.

Amazing experience. There is a slight smell to the room upon entry but it's just Casablanca being an extremely humid city, if they add a dehumidifier it would be better. Staff was amazing to me, Ali in Guest Service always showed up to my room with a large smile and a welcoming heart.
