What a pleasant stay! A little gem for a budget hotel!

Perfect little hotel for a stay after Alton towers. Has everything you need the parking is free if booking directly and only £3 for those who have not,compared the usual hotels is between £10-£20 per night. The staff are helpful there is complimentary tea and coffee and the hotel and rooms are very clean. A nice bare and food. Everything is in close distance. The rooms are very quiet the double glazing is good. We stay in many hotels and many ibis hotels but never a budget and I have to say I am impressed I would definitely recommend this hotel

Stayed one night whilst visiting family in Derby. Room was clean and tidy and was adequate for what we needed, a bed for the night and a shower and breakfast in the morning. It is a budget so there is no tea and coffee making facilities in the room but downstairs near where you check in there are some. Staff are very friendly and greet with warmly, free car parking but enter car reg in at front desk when signing in. Breakfast good with a reasonable amount of choice. Would stay there again

Stayed for 7 nights, the staff are fantastic, professional and friendly. The rooms are very clean, and well styled good I would definitely recommend hotel I will be staying again ..................................................👍🏻👍🏻

We booked a room for 3 people - our company travel managers called the hotel to make sure the room was booked for 3 people. When we arrived, the hotel staff said they had no such record that it would be 3 of us and advised there would be an additional £10 charge for a 3rd person. Whilst on the phone to our travel managers, a member of staff corrected themself that it would be £15 for an extra person, but they could do it for £10. In the end still charged £15. We thought that there was a possible miscommunication, so checked in, paid for 3 breakfast for the next day, and carried on to our room. One would assume that the hotel staff would have realised the room would not be ready for 3 people - had to make the bunk bed, get back to the reception, and ask for towels and pillows. In the morning we came for breakfast and a very rude staff member told us that we paid for 2 breakfast only - we said that we paid for 3, staff member checked some sort of a sheet, glared at us as if we were trying to get free stuff and said "fine, just have it". By the looks of it, the evening staff did not pass on the information to the morning staff, so this all cast a shadow of a doubt of their record keeping and communication. I understand this is a budget hotel, however, manners don't cost anything. It also doesn't cost anything to add some notes on the system to avoid misunderstanding. Otherwise the hotel itself was what anyone should expect for a budget stay - small rooms, clean, with minimum facilities provided.

Excellent and polite staff. Rusalina was very helpful in helping me with we're to go innthe area, and at the bar it is very nice helpful and friendly which makes it feel homely and welcoming so thank you and I will 100% come back if I'm.working in the area again
