We stayed here last January and had a terrible time, This time, a fantastic breakfast, and the children were acknowledged on arrival! The team was very friendly, even managing to fix my sons Ipad We would happily revisit on our annual trip up north

Hotel was just okay, communication was shocking, takes ages for anyone to respond, plenty of other places to stay nearby. Unfortunately I left my wash bag in the bathroom, rang and emailed, everyone promised to speak to housekeeping but it took 12 days for them to confirm nobody could find it!! Shocking customer service.

Noisy & Awful customer service!!

The one star is for the excellent shower but unfortunately we didn’t get to use it because after a few hours of being there we left! The other hotel guests were so noisy and we were basically told “What do expect it’s a Saturday night and we have a party and the bar is open 24hrs”. At first there was no one on reception to complain. As we were leaving with our suitcases we did get approached and said we could give you another room but could not guarantee quietness. We were travelling & very tired & being next to the dual carriageway where you have to drive to get to the hotel you wouldn’t expect a party (Especially if people have to drive the next day!) Tried emailing/phoning Novotel to complain and still no response a few months later.

Need new menu and pricing.

Went down for dinner. Staff got times wrong when restaurant open. Very limited opinion on menu. Gammon chips pineapple. No pineapple available so had to have egg. It came out with fries, probably cheap from the freezer. Very pricey for what u got. One man waiting on us also serving at bar. Room spacious but toilet took time to refill after one person used it. Next person had to wait to flush again. Definitely gone down hill from two years ago.

Great hotel

I had a great check in, very friendly. The room was large with a large queen size bed., lovely and soft. Good quality tea tray. Also had a hair dryer, iron and a safe. We ate in the restaurant, we both had gammon, me without peas and egg. , the gammon was tasty but not salty, although it did look more more like bacon folded over. We slept well. Breakfast was excellant, great choice of cereals, fruit, yoghurts, pastries and a great hot food selection. Good hot drinks too We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts We had a great stay, yge staff were excellant and friendly. Definitely go back again xx
