Good family hotel

We booked this hotel on a recommendation of a family member. The hotel is in a great location close to the tram and easy to reach from the main road. It’s also with walking distance to some shops. The rooms are well maintained and appointed. Lovely Rituals toiletries. Negatives a bit of noise from the tram and not a lot of hanging hooks in bathroom or within your room, not a lot of hanging space for clothes. The pool is lovely and brilliant for families. Reception staff are very friendly and helpful. We would definitely return as room was exactly what we needed for a short family trip and was a good price.

This is my second visit to the Novotel Edinburgh Park. This was a 2 night stay for my wife's birthday. I sent an email requesting an upgrade if available and they certainly delivered. We were handed the keys to suite 501 with had its own living room, 2, bathrooms, and rooftop terrace. The bed was huge and shower in the main bathroom could accomodate a small family. The pool and gym facilities are excellent with the pool open from 0700 - 2200. A nice sauna and steam room also available. Breakfast was average this time. Not as good as in January when fresh pancakes and haggis where also on offer. Hotel is modern and very clean with a great location at Edinburgh Park, beside the airport/city tram line. A Krispy Kreme and KFC are just across the road. A very well priced, modern hotel with friendly staff and excellent facilities. Great base to explore Edinburgh from.
