Old hotel and low maintenance

On the positive side rooms are huge and look over sea ... or at least ours did. Think we were upgraded to a room with bath and high view. Plenty of filtered water gained from fawcetts outside room in hallway. We managed ok but in truth this old girl needs a freshen up, just feels tired and worn ... carpets, grubby walls and paint work, doors knocked around .. towels and linen clean but dated, pillows too, but you can see how magestic she was by the decor of the restaurant/reception. You can be unlucky sometimes, we had to wait 2 hours (thats a record) for a meal to be served in restaurant .. they had moved their focus to a local event group but nobody thought to advise us or apologize.
