It says budget and it really is, no tea making fercelitys, wash basin in room, shower is like a box, but should have known better, I'd rather pay a little extra to feel more civilised, but staff at this budget hotel better then the one across the road at Southampton especially for breakfast which I paid extra for, on menu read fruit salad,all we could see was some apples in dish, (it read) all kinds of bread, all there was ,was some sort white bread, could see no eggs some horrible looking sausages,and a few cold beans, could go on, did speak to manager and waiter, who didn't really care, said if we wanted proper breakfast go nextdoor, and yes did take some photos of breakfast,as did another guest who also complained. Date of stay 26/11/ 25. Will be writing to Ibis with copy of receipt and asking for refund.

Room very clean. Hotel well located for what I needed. Slept really well. Shower was lovely. Staff need some improvements. Most were not very customer oriented. No uniforms and too interested in chatting to their friends. Door unlocked when we returned at 01:50 ish. Not very H&S orientated.
