I enjoyed the stay at ibis Kuwait Salmiya. It was a short stay, but I liked it. The receptionist was very welcoming, the room was perfect ! (Clean, tidy and comfortable). The location of the hotel is close to shopping centers, restaurants and cafes, which also gives it a plus !

Much room for improvement

1) Rooms smell of cigarettes, although we've emphasised the importance of getting a non-smoking room. 2) Lobby staff handling the cafe could have a training course on customer service. 3) Hotel seems to be understaffed, we saw the same people handling luggage and cleaning the room day after day, even the reception staff. 4) It wasn't easy getting house cleaning service, even though we were normal guests, i.e. not in quarantine. 5) The lobby's furniture in the seating area needs to be refreshed. 6) The hotel's elevator doesn't go to the Car Parking at the basement, so we go to the adjacent mall to be able to access the lower parking spaces, even tough this is not the case the other way around, i.e. we can access upper hotel floors from the lower parking spaces through the hotel's elevators, this is a very strange situation. 7) Not enough towels. 8) Beds were uncomfortable.

Hotel location is great and convenience. Staff are friendly and responsive. Operations are not consistent and many conflicts within different teams. I was treated as quarantined guest while I am not. Breakfast is mandatory but I didn't get the option to select and receive only what they decided to serve.

I had a comfortable and quiet time at the hotel. Just one thing was there was no complimentary tea and coffee. Everything else was great you could see the cleanliness. The reception staff were all wearing masks and following the coid19 recommendations

The staff were all very friendly, the reception made you feel at home. The room was very comfortable and quiet. We tried the buffet dinner and found it very delicious, I normally don't go for the buffet but this one had something for everyone. Would recommend this hotel to anyone

The service from your team was Amazing! Upon check in I found the booking prepayment had not gone through leaving me with a shortage on my credit card.
