Absolutely nasty, there was bugs in the bathroom and most of the plug sockets were not functioning and the smell from the shower drain was absolutely rancid and I must say I will never stay here again. And as they say in Birmingham "It is absolutely mingin"

I booked 3 nights in octobre and hopefully that Was just for three nights. The heating didn't work and the staff was not helpfull. Someone came in my room to fix the problem but unfortunately the heating didn' t work and I just got cool air for three days and above all the noise of the cars you can hear all through the night... Impossible to sleep properly in that hotel because the room was so cold. It is better to avoid coming here especially in winter. Last but not least, the woman in the reception was not welcoming at all from the start. So disappointed!

My grandson and I went to the hotel for just one night, as we were visiting the nec ,, over 2 days , hotel super , bathroom was very small , staff brilliant, and the breakfast was amazing , , great for overnight stay ,

Budget hotel. Great service. Clean. Good for a night before flying!

ibis budget Birmingham Airport - NEC Clean and friendly hotel. Server Harman was superb. Seated at a table... we're quickly had table service. Harman was friendly and jokey. Attentive too. Food quite expensive for what it is... but it was very nice and as expected. Frozen chips etc. Signed up to the app... got a free drinks voucher. So a Stella pint costing £6.60 was free! This cancelled out the cost of the food! Room... clean... but the shower drain was going off rotten egg smells. Next to the bed... this wasn't pleasant. The room not too small... but not too big either. No kettle.. but instead on level 1 there is a boiler with tea and coffee options. Bed.. clean and comfortable.. with a bunk over the top of it! So had to watch bumping head. The hotel is really a base for flying the next day.. so is perfect for that. 1 or 2 minutes walk to the terminal. Overall... decent place for the price. Service was excellent.
