Overall, it was ok, having in mind that the cost of accommodation was very moderate, while the hotel is located in a truly convenient place. However, I have a few critical remarks, due to which I will perhaps not stay there again. First, I arrived at midnight and saw a weird note at the reception, which was covered with a strange-looking metal net(?). In the note there was a picture of a 'bell' which I should ring to call the reception. It's good that there was that photo, otherwise, I'd have never found that 'bell' in the wall. So I called and the man replied that I should go to the hotel 'Mercure', which, he said, was 'round the corner'. So I had to wander around with a suitcase in the middle of the night looking for that other hotel. Honestly, for a woman in an unknown city it's not a pleasing experience. I managed to find that other hotel only after I'd spoken to that man the second time and asked him for the exact directions which way to go... Maybe the hotel managers could put a decently-looking paper on the door for those guests who arrive at night with the clear instructions where to go. Another thing about the hotel is that the building (the entrance, the lift, the 1st floor, corridors) is not clean at all, although the room was ok. Evidently, the hotel needs renovation, at least re-painting the walls because the first impression is like that of a very cheap hostel. The positives sides are that the staff were polite and breakfast was alright too. All in all, the best is the location of the hotel and a cheap stay in it. It's good for staying 1 - 2 nights.

Very bad experience

Very poor hotel. Reception closed at 19:00. No access to anybody. Very cold room, no heating. We were freezing. Not enough blanket. Never again! Against other ibis hotels the worst one of all. Not recommend

It is staffed until 10pm, however it may be that you arrived during our receptionist's break time or that they were busy with a task that took them away from reception. For these eventualities there is a call button located conveniently near the entrance. You may also request an additional blanket at reception. We hope you had a nice stay regardless. Everything was as expected. Uncomplicated check-in (online), clean room, good breakfast and was able to park the car in the underground garage for 2 nights. The ideal hotel for a short break in Graz.
