The lobby / bar area is nice The restaurant is ok but the food and cooking area was incredibly dirty. The breakfast is not at the same level as in other Novotels. The room was ok, the bathroom was completely outdated.

The rooms need cleaning and updating as they are used and worn. Staff is very friendly and polite but English level is not good for all. My room was not clean on arrival. Cleaning improved during my stay, but still below standard. Breakfast was good.

The hotel rooms are more outdated than the rest of the hotel. It seems they did a lot of renovations to lobby, bar and restaurant area. Once you get to the rooms they were outdated. The beds were hard as a rock, you didn't even get a bounce off them.

Great place to stay, the most important thing was the Pet Friendly feature, they accept me with my pets and the hostess was very kind, the restaurant in the morning have a nice breakfast buffet. The only thing that I will ask is as a Pet friendly hotel is a must to have in some points of the hotel disposable bags and tissues with some cleaner, this way if some "accident" happen we can clean it up, remember our pets are our responsibility and not responsibility of the employees of the hotel.

Couple things went wrong: - we received an slice of moldy chocolate cake through room service. The solution given was changing the slice with another one, we decided to pass on it as it seemed as old as the moldy one. - towels reeked and were almost unusable due to the heavy odor.

I stayed for 10 nights in Novotel Del Valle for it is close to the offices I needed to visit. The first night, the shower flooded. I reported it to Front Desk but it was never fixed as the water took minutes to go down. 2 days in a row Housekeeping skipped the room and 2 days before I left, housekeeping was done but never took out the thrash, left no towels and no water bottles. Once I called Front Desk and then it was taken care of. Even the Night Manager called to apologize, which was a nice detail. Next day everything was perfect. EXCELLENT restaurant!!! Good food and the service (and room service) was great! Congratulations to them!

Everything could have been great, but I had a major incident in my room since day 1, I had no towels, the phone did not work propertly and in the last day, the bathtub was broken =(
