Nice Hotel, with comfortable beds. The only issue that we had was that when you arrive to the room the air conditioning is off and since the weather outside is so hot, took a lot of time to have a comfortable temperature on the room

Forgot a personal belonging and could not get it back

Hi, just two days after leaving Novotel, I found out I’ve forgotten my headphones in one of the room’s drawers. I call reception twice and they told me they didn’t find anything in the room. Too bad these were bulky and pricy headphones.

Fine stay, hidden fees, inconsiderate check in staff

I had mentioned that I would be bringing my dog in my initial reservation and received a confirmation that there would be no added fees for that request. When we checked in they added hidden fees for bringing my dog. I mentioned the message I had received and they basically told me I was wrong even though I showed them the receipt of the message. I ended up paying the additional fees and then only after continuing to clarify with them they mentioned they would only defer the fees if he was a support animal, which he is, but only after arguing with them did they even mention the support animal exception (my dog is a support animal). I ended up getting a refund only after arguing my case for 20 minutes and then the front door staff ignored us for the rest of the stay. Super unprofessional check in. The rest of the staff was lovely.

The person who made my reservation did it wrong I requested late check in but it was changed for an extra day. It’s not the money what matters to me is the fact that you all say something and do something else. The person in the restaurant said my food be ready in 40 minutes and y took close to 2 hours. It really bugged me they didn’t have smoking rooms and that but not least they didn’t clean my room in 2 days Como decimos en España una y no más santo Tomás.

Well located but A/C didn’t work

While almost everything was OK, the A/C is WAY TO hot even on the “lowest” setting, there’s no way someone can rest in this heat without proper A/C.

In general people were nice and they have always been but honestly guys your rooms need to be redecorated. Those furniture and painting on the walls look like from an episode of ‘The Golden Girls’ so 90’s. I have been staying in your hotel (Valle oriente, monterrey Mexico) but I think that next time I will go to a different place with a more contemporary appearance for the same price. Besides that the service and the food are good. Thank you.

AC not working. Dirty Towels upon arrival. No cleaning service of room. Slow elevators, few working. Poor guest services. Long wait to check in. Poor food quality. Dirty pool. Dirty pool lounge chairs.

The only reason I stayed here is because they are pet friendly, otherwise I will not even look at them. The rooms are old and the room had long hairs from someone else. Check In personnel not very friendly. Waiters at the restaurant seemed not willing to work.

Staff was good, not great, good. The noise in the halls at late hours and early hours as well as hearing many other rooms was very frustrating. THE SLAMMING DOORS WAS RIDICULOUS. A SHOE POLISHER WAS IN FRONT OF MY DOOR, SO i GOT TO HEAR SHOE POLISHING AT ALL HOURS. Very small odd pillows for the bed. Hard towels (2 bath, 1 hand) There was nothing that stood our. I was weakly greeted, never once a person asked to help with bags or bring a cart. Honestly, for the money, I would stay elsewhere. I would not stay here again. All in all it was acceptable. One of the absolute worst

Before flying back from Monterrey, I lost my phone in a Taxi in Monterrey. The Novotel team found it back, collected it and sent it to me to Guatemala !! They have been perfect, what a amazing service !!!

Excellent staff, eager to help, walking distance from the nicest shopping mall in town. Great value for my money, I would definitely recommend it and return!! Love having a small refrigerator in room.
