Staff lovely. Hotel overpriced for “budget” and location.

Only one night in Glasgow on this occasion, first stay at this hotel. Car parking actually on shopping complex, not hotels own parking as led to believe, so not secure. £170 for tiny, very depressing cell like room. Entrance from shopping complex with reception on 6th floor, extremely shabby and derelict appearance on the outside from this angle. Had the photo on the website shown this I wouldn’t have booked. Area run down and would avoid walking through it to centre (approx 30 min walk) if possible even in daylight. We used taxis in the evening. On a positive note once inside the hotel the rooms and the communal areas were clean. The breakfast was a small selection of cold pastries and meat , so adequate. The staff were very nice- polite, friendly and approachable.

The hotel is a complete dump. £115 for the most basic dungeon of a room I’ve ever seen. Totally amazed that you can charge this. Had I known what it looked like I’d have slept in my car for free. Shocking.

The lady with dark hair working on Friday night was really lovely. Made our trip that extra bit better.

Well located around an entertainment complex

This hotel was spotless, excellent customer service from all staff encountered. About a 25 minute walk into centre of Glasgow which was pleasant along the river Clyde. The girl sits amongst an entertainment complex of cinema, bowling, several restaurants and Burger King. As well as others just outside on main road. Our room no 808 had a cupboard either side so no noise from adjoining rooms. Excellent breakfast. Covid procedure in place everywhere in hotel. Use Ibis and the like as they’re a fair price, spotless and conveniently placed. Totally recommend.

Regular at the Ibis Hotel in Springfield Quay and is my favourite hotel to stay in when in Glasgow. Brilliant rooms and some of the best staff i have seen. Will be back visiting very soon - Brendan Mullan

We’re a group of musicians, playing Barrowlands as part of a UK tour. The Ibis is perfectly placed and well priced for our overnight stay, now on to Usher Hall Edinburgh.

To noisy constant banging of doors all night long. The bed was uncomfortable mattress was too thin could feel the slates of the bed digging into me through the night. The television most of channels had no signal.

Stayed several nights in Hotel which has ready access across the River Clyde to the City Centre and rail links both north and south. Very good value for money relative to other Hotels in the City Centre. Enjoyed the breakfast early morning. Staff very friendly. I would use the Hotel again.

Our welcome was excellent. We were made very welcome and the receptionist was very helpful telling us places to visit. We had our dog with us and she was also made very welcome. Room was spotless and perfect for us with a dog. The location was ideal and we would definitely stay again.

Rubbish beds

Customer review rating 0.5/5

Sumite Friends - 03/09/2021 Confirmed reviews ALL

Room was small which was expected but beds were absolutely rubbish. Almost a week later I still have back pain and I don’t suffer from back pain generally. My friend didn’t sleep all night as the bed was too creaky. Some anti bacterial hand wash would have been nice due to COVID times. Bar of soap is not anti bacterial. I know it was cheap but I would never stay again in an ibis budget.

Tyre got slashed in the car park.

Callum Solo - 03/09/2021 Confirmed reviews ALL

Hotel staff kind, especially Katie on desk when I checked-in and had problems with my car and the lift, safer to use the stairs, and Valerie who was on hand when I woke up in the morning to find the tyre of my car had been slashed by a knife.

Good location. Basic, clean, friendly staff, perfect for £36

Thought the hotel was absolutely fine for the price. Room was comfy and clean. Bed very comfy. Hotel could do with a lick or paint outside but the reception area was very nice the wee cafe/bar area was lovely and the staff were all very friendly. Thought 6.95 was a bit steep for a mini prosecco from the fridge though. I could of bought a large bottle for a lot less. All in all very good value at only £36
