The rooms were comfortable, the location is great, and the service was exactly what one would expect from a Novotel. Unfortunately, our stay was significantly affected by an unexpected restriction regarding the fitness centre. Access was denied to our children based on an alleged age limit, even though no such restriction was clearly communicated in advance or stated on the hotel’s website. We had chosen this hotel specifically because of its facilities, including the fitness centre, as we wanted our children to be able to continue their regular running training during our stay in Poland. Being denied access therefore disrupted our plans in a substantial way and negatively impacted our overall experience. What made the situation particularly disappointing was the fact that on our last day we saw younger children using the fitness centre, clearly with staff awareness and permission. It is very difficult to explain to children why rules apply strictly to them, but apparently not to others. This inconsistency made the restriction feel arbitrary and unfair rather than a clearly applied policy. It is a pity, because aside from this issue the hotel itself and the staff deserve praise. However, transparent communication of rules — and their consistent application — is essential. In our case, the lack of clarity and consistency regarding access to the fitness centre significantly reduced what would otherwise have been a very positive stay.

Since the Fitness Center is also very popular among young people, we are considering making changes so that minors, under the strict supervision of their parents, can also use this facility. A few things have changed, breakfast options are less attractive as before. Tv got broken so we had to change room, toilets in the pool area were broken as well for two of our three day stay. Our key card got deactivated despite we have paid and informed that we were checking out late prior to our arrival. The attitude of the blonde girl at the front desk was rude, apparently she didn't have the information. After a while she activated our key cards again in the meantime my two small daughters had to wait in lobby getting cold because we returning from the pool area.
