It was the worst stay I ever had, with contractors walking around cutting bricks, hammering. It was noise, dirty and also they didn't respond in an educated manner on suggestions to at least stop the work during lunch or breakfast, very impolite. The manager was absent and couldn't be reached to receive complains. The cleaning staff told me personally that they were not authorized to clean the hall, only the apartments. You guys should be ashamed to call this a hotel. It was not worth a penny.

The hotel was neat and comfortable. On the other hand, part of the ceiling of the bathroom was a little loose and not well aligned. I also had trouble when checking out, because the hotel's system didn't have the information that the breakfast was already paid when the reservation was made. This problem was solved after some time, but it's weird and embarrassing having this kind of problem, specially considering that we have a digital-integrated daily life.

Bad experience at check out

My experience at check out was very bad. The person who did my check out tried to charge twice my breakfast. A tried to explain several times that the guy in check in already charged my breakfast, but the clerk don't believe in me and said the the system don't show anything. I asked to her print my reservation and in paper shows clear the advance pay off my diaries and breakfast, but she still don't understanding. After a couple of minutes I said that I'll not pay because the paper shows clearly that I had a prepaid she told me that find out the problem in system. But after all this issue, I don't receive any apologies from the clerk and it was very embarrassing for me because had a lot of people in the lobby.

This is the first time that I stay at Ibis São José do Rio Preto and everything was as expected. The breakfast has lots of options, the room is always clean and WiFi works really well. The only complaint I have is that I always try to book the hotels through the website and they are always more expensive than booking.
