The hotel is good for the Ibis standards, the staff from reception are friendly and professional. However, I had an incident during my stay because my privacy was not respected and I felt invaded by the cleaning service staff. I put the signal " Please do not disturb " on my door; however, they opened the door of my room ignoring the signal and without even knocking the door in a moment in which I was not having clothes on me. If the signal is used, I am expecting privacy and respect from the staff; not only because they can find guests still sleeping but also like in my case, they can invade the privacy.

The first night we were put in room 100, which is directly over the cigarette machine, so when people were smoking outside the door, the smoke came in our window. We were graciously moved to another room for the remainder of our stay, however, the bathroom smelled horribly of cigarettes. Overall the room was over priced for the experience.

Staff was really nice. We didn't book breakfast for timing reasons, therefore cannot comment on that. Many things were right. Location was great for us (proximity to Hallenstadion). No complications, no fuzz. Exactly what you expect. Why only 1 room key for 2 people? Weird, but no big deal. However, moldy shower head was a turnoff. Shower cabin did not close either, feels like nitpicking but if it was not for the bathroom, we would have given 9/10. Overall, can absolutely recommend *if* the location is right for you (as you are not "in the city").
