OK Hotel in good location

We stayed in this hotel in August 2025. It was our the very first experience with IBIS chain. Bad surprise that this hotel didn't have neither fridge nor microwave in a room. However, room itself has good size for European hotels. We were able to move around and place our suitcases there. Very close to subway and train stations, which made travel to/from airport super easy. Not many restaurants around, but we found couple grocery stores in 5 minutes walk and it helped.

Might try to boil you

The water temperature was dangerously unstable, 3-5 seconds of icy water and 3-5 seconds of water hot enough to literally boil your skin off, constantly alternating. I did enjoy the waffles for breakfast though.

Would highly recommended this Ibis, Excellent location, just 3 stops on the metro to Stephansplatz the main town, and lots of amenities. The hotel staff friendly and helpful. Very clean bedrooms and bathroom. Breakfast choice also very good.

If you looked at my profile you’d see how unlikely I am to leave a bad review. This hotel we picked it coz of the competitive price and obviously we did not come with high expectations. However, it seemed as if no one wants to work there. Check in was awful as I attempted to practice some German and the receptionist was nothing but sassy and so not smiley. You often see them sitting in the back office and they don’t have any reflex to stand up coming at you. Check out was (not) handled by another girl who stayed sitting with her glittered AirPods on (?!). You guys cold coz of the temperature or were you raised this way? The only exception was a blond lady who actually had a good smile! Also the metro isn’t far so that was practical. Otherwise it can easily be downgraded to 1 star. The building was not aesthetically cute but the issue stays in how

It's an ok hotel. Not top notch, but surely a place you can stay at for a few nights. Easy connection to Vienna centre, by foot or public transport. Friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are fairly clean, some maintenance and inspection should be done though. The bed is very good and made me want to stay on it for longer. There is a ground floor terrace where you can have a drink and listen to and see the business of the streets. Room was adequate for me.
