We loved our stay at Novotel. It was a very nice hotel with a good location in an interesting part of the city and also close to the city centre. Our kids really enjoyed the pool. It was a great pool for the kids. The breakfast was nice and the staff was absolutely amazing!

The rooms were excellent and nice. The day we reached Zurich Alice upgraded us to the 5th Floor. Good hotel! Alice was very helpful and supportive to us. The lobby was gorgeous and the entrance lights at night were beautiful. The breakfast was devouring and delicious.

We asked for Milk for my Infants, they said come down and pick it up. How can I leave my twins in the room and come pick up. Very unexpectedly bad service.

BEWARE HOTEL NOT SUITABLE FOR INDIANS. Hotel with Racist Staff. Not suitable for Indians. We were there with family for 5 nights. However we were surprised to see Racist behaviour by Staff of the Hotel especially against Indians & Asians. Even though the hotel is rated as 4 star, the staff is poorly trained. We along with 5-6 other Indian Family arrived at 8 AM at the Hotel after Night Flight from India. The staff asked us to wait till 3PM for check in as they do not allow check in before. When other Indians families left we were surprised to see that they are allowing early check in to White Skinned Families even before 3 PM. On our protest they allowed to check in at our room at 2 PM. Further we noticed, Hotel is overcharging to Indians as compared to others. We asked for marshmellow for my daughter. The staff charged 2 CHF , however it was 1 CHF. This is just one example. staff do not provide services to Indians . They didnt even gave my 4 year child water and asked me to get it from toilet.

Firstly, we assure you that accusations of racism are taken very seriously and are unfounded in this case. Our hotel prides itself on welcoming guests from all over the world, and our diverse staff includes over 14 nationalities, including Indian and Asian team members. We believe in fairness and equality in our service to all guests. Regarding the check-in time, it is clearly stated that our check-in time is 3 PM. Guests who wish to check in earlier have the option of requesting an early check-in, which comes with an additional fee. In your case, there was no early check-in fee paid, which is why the room was not available before 3 PM. This policy ensures that guests who have paid for the early check-in receive their rooms first. It's also important to note that on the day of your arrival, our hotel was fully booked. Our standard check-out time is 11 AM, and it takes time to clean and prepare the rooms for incoming guests. Your room, which was a family room, required additional preparation time. The timing of room availability was not influenced by any protest but by the high occupancy and the necessary cleaning process. Concerning the price of the sweets, we do not have any items priced at 1 CHF. We encourage you to double-check the price list as there might have been a misunderstanding. Lastly, about the tap water situation, you came to the bar with several plastic bottles to refill. The bar was busy at that time, and our staff was attending to guests who were ordering drinks. For your convenience, you were advised to use the water point in the restroom, which provides the same quality of water. Our staff does their best to assist all guests promptly, but during busy periods, priority must be given to those who are making orders. We strive to provide the best possible service to all our guests and are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations.
