The stay was great, good rooms, facilities and perfect location. However, the parking was too expensive considering I'm a guest at the hotel. I have travelled around the world for work and pleasure and I have not paid for parking at my hotel.

Actually I did book the connected Ibis City West, but due to unknown reasons, my stay was realized in the Novotel, so it was a nice surprise, as the Novotel is of course a way nicer, so thanks for the upgrade!

Room good, breakfast bad, booking experience nightmare

booked via all.accor.com with breakfast, in hotel they told me to extra pay the breakfast. booked Ibis, got Novotel. even after clarifying the booking issue, I got an invoice to pay more. Not nice.

Not Novotel I expected

We stayed in a family room. Pros: very good swimming pool (max 6 ppl at a time) with a special key card to access, good safety measures (1 person/in the lift at a time, sanitizer in the lift!, automatically opening doors from/to garage and friendly staff, DYI gift for kids was nice gesture, welcoming drink. Cons: expensive parking CHF29/24 hrs. 1 welcoming water bottle (0.5l) for 4 ppl (2 adults + 2 kids), no after shower conditioner and no lotion in the bathroom. Doors of a toilet do not lock from inside. Toilet and the sink were yellowish (not very clean) and this is a 4-star hotel (!)

Maybe you will find the possibility to forward a short note with the information to us. Further bathroom products are available at any time on request at our hotel reception. In the higher categories executive and suites, these are automatically stored in the bathroom. I sincerely hope that your next visit will leave you completely satisfied. It was ok no frills but expensive

Had originally booked to stay at the Ibis next door, was no problem to be moved to the Novotel but would have been appreciated to have this communicated in advance rather than having to confirm with the hotel myself. The booking was also for one adult and one child, in the booking notes I had requested a baby bed, this could not be confirmed when I checked in, when I got to the room it had been made up with the sofa bed, I informed reception on our way out and they advised it would be swapped straight away, when we returned later that evening this had not happened.

Very poor breakfast. We stayed 4 nights and every day was always the same with no difference. It had only the basic and very few every time. The last day of our vacations the bread was not fresh. Also, the last day after a very long trip, we found that our rooms were not cleaned, no towels etc. Disappointed cause I suggested the hotel to our friends (total 3 rooms).

We (couple) stayed two nights at Novotel Zurich City West. Throughout our stay we experienced the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The rooms offered a great modern and appealing design, while not missing any comfort or cleanliness. We were pleased with the high variety and quality of the breakfast buffet. With cozy places to eat and drink around, we enjoyed the location of the hotel. The great connection with public transport makes it easy to get around Zurich. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would choose the hotel again for our next visit in Zurich.

Every time I am in Zurich for business and I am staying in the Novotel Zurich west. The staff is simply amazing and the "new" rooms are great too. The location itself is perfect for my needs and requirements and the overall accessibility to public transport is just perfect. However I have to criticize the breakfast, I do understand the challenges with CoVid but 25 CHF for the very very limited offer is not acceptable. But don't you worry .... I'll be back

Usual high and consistent standard. Great pancakes at breakfast. Am easy check in and check out. Quiet rooms and I like the option to not have rooms cleaned so as to benefit the environment and not spread Corona virus.
