I have stayed at this hotel 20 to 40 nights a year over the last 4 years. And I have always come back as I was happy with the hotel and staff. The last time I stayed the new female receptionist refused to give me my room key even though I have already paid for the room, showed my ID but didn’t have the credit card I paid for the room with. I do not carry this card with me and showed the digital form of the card which she would not accept. This has never happened to me before in my 100+ last stays at this hotel. Luck the manager that knew me came out (which I asked for and was told he was not in the building l) and told the girl to give me my key. I will not be staying at the Ibis Budget Campbelltown again.
