Good value but no towels

Small room but nice and clean with private bathroom, convenient electronic access. However there were no (bath)towels, just 1 small hand towel for the 2 of us. It's our first stay in an F1. Subsequently I read in the small print of the booking confirmation that no towels are provided but are available for €3. Since we arrived late (after 10pm) there was no one to talk to about obtaining towels. It's the first time we ever encountered a hotel room without towels and it was very inconvenient. At least such an important thing should be mentioned more clearly.

Usual F1 facilities. Breakfast good but a bit early for us! Helpful staff. All went well until I booked an extension on-line without telling them. Staff work hard on cleaning but new carpets would make it more worthwhile.

Hotel appeared to be used for housing homeless families, no problem, with this but it should not detract from the services for paying guests.

The room when we arrived smelled very bad, there was no soap in the dispensers in the showers The hotel was generally a bit dirty. We have stayed in F1 Hotels over 100 times, this was one of the worst.

The rooms were okay. The bottom floor seemed to be occupied by people living in the hotel which meant we had to navigate our way through a corridor of children's toys, bikes and prams.

I've been to F1 hotels three times before, but unlike the precious times, this time was awful. The hostess was okay, and it was proper (except the toilet), but it was hot and very, very noisy. It seems that whole families are not on vacation, but are actually living there. Men went to work in their lorry, early in the morning and tens of kids went to school. And they were not at all in the 'holiday-mood'. They were shouting and screaming. It looked like living in a bad 'banlieue'. I couldn't sleep until 24.00 o' clock, because they were talking loudly, outside, underneath my window drinking wine. It was very hot (39 degrees), but I couldn't open the window for some fresh air, because of all the noise of the kids playing, and people talking. And I had to close down the curtain, because people could see inside. I felt I had no privacy. Breakfast costs 3,50 but was worth 20 cents.

Easy check-in. Room clean but little room around bed - would be cramped for a family. Bed reasonably comfortable. My room fairly close to loo and shower - others not so close. Shower pretty good, lavatory less impressive - designed without seat and nowhere to wash hands. Breakfast basic but adequate; orange juice, cereal, bread, toast, jam etc. Coffee or tea. Parking good. Outside area for smokers. I'd stay again.
