Being in two different rooms in the last 15 days and both had problems with bathroom door closing. Also, for both check-in processes, I did not receive an upgrade and was not offered a welcome drink as it is stated in the benefits for Gold LeClub members. I would rather stay in an Ibis hotel when I'm back to Recife because Mercure Navegantes hotel does not deserve to hold the Mercure name anymore.

Well located. Need an internal renew. Need to repair some windows as it is very noisy.

Nice hotel. The room was extremely nice and big. However, the outlets were not placed well. For example, there was no outlet near the bed, so it was inconvenient for me to charge my phone. The breakfast was good however the organization of the breakfast did not have a good flow. The room is a bit too small, and the process of getting plates and food was a bit awkward.

Hotel entrance is sort of weird. There was a cargo truck parked in front of the main entrance which made it difficult to find the hotel. Lobby is ok, but corridors were very tired, as well as the restaurant. Need urgent renovation.

Everything is old. The room is a bit noisy. The sink, mini-fridge is inside a closet whose doors when open, take half of the living area. TV is terrible, no choice of original audio (English). Shower keeps dripping and it's dark. Toilet paper is horrible, one of those we find in hospitals, why not the roll?? Phone didn't work, I had to go to kitchen to order room service, or to the reception if I had questions; there was no remote control for the TV in the bedroom; lamps didn't work; Neighbor-buildings are so close I couldn't open the shades. It was one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in.

For a 4* hotel, I expected more. The room was beatific with a gorgeous view but the bathroom too small, with an old finishing (the tiles reminded me of my grandma’s house). The mattress was “too used”. It has a depression in the middle from usage. I didn’t have the chance too look at the pool and other areas. Breakfast was ok, nothing too “wow”. In the overall, it was ok, but I expected more for a 4* hotel.

Very old installations and low maintenance

The AC the room was noisy, I could ear the external unit during night. Shower was in poor maintenance. The shower head was old and dirty making it a very conducive medium for the growth of bacteria.

I ordered a meal from Room Service and received a Raw piece of Chicken. Besides that, the power went off during the night (one of my friends got stuck at the elevator). Overall bad experience, worse I've had so far with Mercure.

The service is completely far from what we expect of a Mercure hotel. I made a reservation of a crib in advance and it wasn’t avaiable at the room. I arrived at the hotel late at night with a baby and tired, and this situation was extremely embarrasing and desapointing. It seems that the hotel doesn’t have a manager.
