Good place to stay for a family with teens, 15 minute taxi ride to Medina.

Staff are mainly very helpful and courteous although need training in some areas - a Mr Macho pushed in ahead of me and my patiently queuing (for at least 5 minutes) 18 year old son and the receptionist allowed him to do so, which my son, rightly, was having none of. Left me in an awkward situation where I had to let the extremely rude man push in, which I was not happy about and left us both seething - the receptionist did nothing to defuse the situation. Rooms were big enough, and fine in Winter (we kept the window open, but not sure the aircon would cope in Summer). The wardrobe situation is bad - a big clump of ugly shelving in one corner with no hangers. The bar is cold, smokey and unfriendly especially if you´re female (even accompanied by husband). Restaurant too is cold but the tagine was good, and the local red wine delicious, though the others thought the lamb disappointing in presentation and value. Breakfast unappetising, even by Ibis standards. Also the early morning buffet doesn´t exist.

Father and daughter, first time in Fez and I was a little worried but at the end of the trip I was even more surprised, the people were really friendly and helpful, it was an eye opener. If I go again I won't change so much money, as I lost out a lot, and book all trips on line before going

Staff was friendly, room was clean. Shower leaked water everywhere, however. Also, I had taken the time to provide all check-in information online prior to our trip. This was because we were arriving at midnight, and I knew we would be too tired to fill out the forms at the desk. However, we were still required to complete the forms again, even though all the information had already been provided. Please rectify this. You shouldn't require guests to provide the same information twice. The online form says that if the information is provided in advance online, it won't be necessary to fill out the forms at the desk.

I loved ibis hotel so much, reception restaurant bar stuffs were helpful, this hotel has a big garden and a swimming pool , the trainstation not far from the hotel, it's 3 minutes walking.

My stay in Ibis Fez was very pleasant. Room was comfortable and the view amazing. The only complain I got was with the tour guide assigned to us which besides not being very friendly it cut off the tour earlier than the 4 hours we were told. Also, it asked us to pay for his taxi to return, which is something that we should pay!

Hotel in desperate need of a make over

As ibis hotels go this one is particularly tired and in need of a major make over. There seemed to be construction work going on whilst we were staying there so maybe it's underway. The food was terrible and there wasn't enough staff. The pool is ok. The location is good.
