Cozy stay in Fes

The hotel is situated conveniently insight of the Fes train station and minutes by petite taxi to all the major local attractions. At the first greetings we were welcomed into the cozy hotel and made at home. The hotel pool and patio were a good get-away from the day's walk through the Medina and tanneries. The kitchen manager Rachid made sure the breakfast was more than agreeable.

Right in the centre of Fez - A standard Ibis hotel, you know what you are going to get. It was clean and warm and the bed was very comfortable. The rooms are small but fine for a few nights. Price was OK. Private parking ( small charge) - Will stay again.

Check in was quick and given top floor room facing the swimming pool and beautiful garden.very quite room , very comfortable bed good shower and plenty of hot water.During my weeks stay the room was always cleaned very well.All the employees I met were most helpful and made my stay very comfortable, Good breakfast and selection, Rachid the waiter at breakfast was most helpful and courteous, very good air conditioning and fast wifi ,the limited food in the bar was very tasty .The duvets on the beds were too hot, Ibis seems to have just the one weight of duvet all year round , this needs to be looked at even in a Europe . I can recommend this hotel it’s next door to the main railway station and such good value . The main Medina is about 10/15 minute taxi ride

Stay was terrible and staff behavior including rooms were awful.bedding was already used before allocation of room.No cleaning staff available to change bedding.I was very disappointed by reception staff because of their non cooperative behavior.i checked out one day early but refund was refused by reception staff when asked why their behaviur was very rude.

From the outside it did not look like a typical Ibis which was good. The receptionists were helpful and friendly. The pool was set in nice surroundings but as it's not heated it's too cold to go in for a swim

We've stayed at several different Ibis hotels around Morocco. The one in Fes is probably the nicest. The rooms have been recently redone, the bathrooms are immaculate, and everything works. The staff was friendly and professional. Though the hotel is located next to the train station, we didn't hear street noise at all.

Beautiful grounds, and a lovely pool. In warmer months this would be a great place to stay. It is very well located for both the Old Town and the New Town. We did not try the restaurant or the bar. I am not sure how clean the room was. The bed linen felt as though someone had already slept in it, and my friend and I ended up rather badly bitten. Not mosquito bites either. What we found looked like a bed bug.

We asked for a 1:00 pm checkin and the room was not ready. we were given (with the security guy) 2 keys for 2 rooms to check which room is ready to be used. The 1st room was being painted!, the second room was ready but missing towels. the security guy was very helpful in securing everything needed. PS: I realized that the staff did not have a uniform...

Every time that we need information and ask to the reception they said: go to the train Gare!!!! (It's next to) maybe there can help you.....bad¡ cero custumer service, even doesn't a map in a turist zone....to much to improve. The swimming pool is great.

First the noise: the hotel is conveniently located right next to the train station, which has a downside: noise from the station and surrounding roads. This makes a pool view room a no brainer, right? Not so fast. The very attractive pool area has outside tables for the bar and restaurant, generating noise into the night. I must, however, thank Manager Mr. Simohammed, for his part in mitigating this problem for me. I wish the other employees working the reception desk had been so helpful. While I'm discussing employees, I'd like to praise the wait staff at the restaurant La Table. I ate there most mornings and evenings during my one week stay, and found them friendly and helpful. Now for the smoke. Ibis Fes is similar to Ibis Rabat, inasmuch as there seems to be no rhyme or reason for the placement of the non-smoking rooms. The large ashtrays, located in the hallways throughout this building, only reinforce the impression that the concept of the non-smoking room is not taken seriously. An entire floor, or at least a wing needs to be dedicated to NS rooms, without ashtrays in the halls!

The hotel is situated in the new part of town, but with a little red taxi, you get to the Medina in 5 min ( about 10 dh in daytime). The rooms are clean, a good size, and a smalle but very ok bathroom. Well, lets call it showercel with toilet. The staff at the reception was friendly. The only thing that is very bad about the hotel, is the bar and the restaurant. No atmosphere, or a bad one. For breakfast, take for example a littele red taxi to Paul

I thought the Ibis brand would be similar in Fes as it would be in Birmingham or anywhere else.It wasn't.It was tired and shabby. My daughter and me had a long weekend in Fes and so booked the Ibis....I would not do it again..Cats were allowed into the dining room,they jumped on tables on the veranda while we were having dinner.We had a very ordinary breakfast,the air conditioning in the bedrooms did not work even though I compained about it each day we were there.One day there were no towels in our rooms.Reception told me they were coming...they were coming...they were coming.Eventually I had to go looking for them.The sun beds round the pool are very uncomfortable.I wanted a red taxi from outside the hotel to collect us for an early morning flight.The manager insisted he use the taxi the hotel had a contract with.This turned out to be a very old taxi with no working rear seat belts.
