Bad experience with the general manager's negative attitude

We requested for correction of invoice details due to front desk mistake but apparently, the staff doesn't know how to amend & even the general manager did not bother to check if it is possible to amend but simply rejected us with bad attitude & she even insulted us by shouting at us to "go" for couple of times. I would not recommend any business travellers to stay here.

Dear Chun Kit C., We would like to emphasize again that we have offered you to cancel the payment in order to then charge the total amount. So you would have had one bill and not two! I was there myself that day. We accept all criticism - but it must also be true! If you didn't want to accept our offer, then unfortunately we couldn't do anything more for you. We had to cancel breakfast and be stuck with the costs. It could have been solved easily, but you didn't want to accept any option from our side. Very unfortunate! Verena Wagner

Appalling Service and Management: A Hotel to Avoid!

I cannot express how deeply disappointed and infuriated I am with the appalling service I received at this 4 stars hotel (it is a joke 4 star with this kind of service). My stay, which should have been a pleasant experience, was marred by the unprofessional conduct of the senior manager, who demonstrated a complete lack of respect for customers. My ordeal began on September 7th when I checked in, having booked a room rate that clearly included breakfast. The front desk staff insisted on a deposit or full payment upfront, I totally understood on this and I opted to pay in full, expecting no further issues. However, on September 8th, during check-out, I was slapped with an additional charge of EUR 18.80. Why, you ask? Well, the hotel had arbitrarily split the bill into two parts, one for accommodation and another for breakfast, without any prior notification. Given that this was a business trip, my company policy stipulates a single transaction on one credit card. So, I requested a simple reversal and consolidation of the charges into one transaction as per our booking. Shockingly, the front desk staff flatly refused to accommodate my request. When I insisted on speaking with the front desk manager, the manager come out and did not introduce herself, she is with a long golden hair. Of course, I expected senior staff should be able to accommodate my simple request or at least give me a good explanation why cannot, but it did not go what I expect, in fact, the situation went from bad to worse. Mandy Wunderlich, who I later discovered was the general manager based on her photo online, exhibited a shocking lack of professionalism and customer service skills. Instead of addressing the issue rationally, she raised her voice, used aggressive body language, and shouted at us to "Go, Go!" This behavior was not only embarrassing but entirely unacceptable for a hotel that boasts a four-star rating. I was left astounded by this encounter. If a hotel's general manager, who is expected to set an example for the entire staff, behaves in such an appalling manner, it's no wonder the rest of the team lacks courtesy and professionalism. Individuals like Mandy should not hold senior positions in the service industry, tarnishing the reputation of the hotel and leaving guests with unforgettable negative experiences. In conclusion, my stay at this hotel was marred by abysmal service and a shocking display of unprofessionalism from the senior management. I strongly advise anyone considering a stay here to think twice and explore other options. This establishment does not deserve your hard-earned money, and its management should be held accountable for their disgraceful conduct.

Thank you for your hospitality and an early check-in at 11am. Areas of improvement: -Customer service and interaction: I foud only three staff at reception professional (the lady who checked me in, another lady who delivered coffee whitener to my room, the gentleman who fixed the safe). -Room service: I had to remind the staff multiple times re either missing items or cleaning issues. I eventually ended up sending a handwritten note to the reception listing my concerns. -strategic customer relationship: I believe I was the only guestvstayong there over two weeks. However, I need not my business was proportionally appreciated. -method of payment: several attempts were made to dnable charging my card. Also, staff were unable to properly explain the additional charges related to the payment method. -strong cigarette smell even ghougb I was in a smoke-free room -no automatic entry doors or staff to hold the door especially during check-in/out -smell of urine in the bathroom - I did not notice/need any AC as the weather was cool during most of my stay Thank you

If housekeeping forgot to replenish various items, we are sorry. Please note that we cannot change the linen every day for long-term guests. We offer this service 1 time per week. In addition, we would like to point out that the stay rooms are cleaned in the same way as departure rooms. If there is hair in the room, it is your own. Of course we can replenish fresh towels etc. daily - but only with extra charge. Please understand that we expect guests to provide us with a working credit card. This was not the case here, so we had to charge it by other means. This is also inconvenient for us. Unfortunately, we do not have a staff to hold the door open, as we generally suffer from a lack of staff. However, if you had asked the reception for help, we would have gladly done so. Truly a 4 star experience. Rooms with generous space and very clean. The staff is very kind and extremely professional, attentive to the needs of the customers. The hotel is located in a quiet area. After a day of doing many activities, the perfect environment that the hotel creates for rest was wonderful. Tasty breakfast with a wide variety of choices. It is impossible to describe in a few sentences such a pleasant experience. There's more to say, but to sum it up, it's a place I'd like to go back to and recommend with confidence.
